Quarterback: Steele Barben, Crimson Cliff HS Jr.
Barben led the 4A Class in passing yards and TDs this season with 3,058 yards and 38 TDs. Barben plays with a good release wasting no motion in his passes and accuracy to hit his targets on short and long routes. Good poise to stay in the pocket and vision to find the open man. Has the mobility to move around the pocket and extend plays with his legs.
Running Back: Tyden Morris, Desert Hills HS Sr.
Morris finished his senior year as a 1,000 yard rusher and a 4A State Champion. A physical back that can pick, slide and accelerate to the hole and get behind his shoulder pads on inside runs. Good hands to catch out the backfield.
Running Back: Brevin Egbert, Sky View HS Jr.
Egbert was the second leading rusher in the 4A Class. An elusive back that can pick, slide and accelerate to the hole on inside runs. Can bend the corner and accelerate on outside runs. Shows good balance to bounce off tacklers and has good hands to catch out the backfield and lined up as a receiver.
Wide Receiver: Boston Adamson, Crimson Cliff HS Jr.
Adamson led the 4A Class in receiving TDs with 12 and helped the Mustangs reach the 4A State Championship. Adamson is a athletic receiver with good burst and initial quickness. Shows good body control, hand placement and vision to catch the ball in flight. Good cutting ability and route agility on short routes. Shows willingness as a blocker.
Wide Receiver: RJ Wright RJ Wright 6'3" | 160 lbs | WR Hurricane | 2023 State UT , Hurricane HS Sr.
Wright led the 4A Class in receiving yards with 935. Wright is a tall athletic player that can adjust to the ball in flight and cutting ability to run short routes. Can catch in a crowd going over the middle. Athletic after the catch avoiding tacklers to gain more yards. Shows physicality and willingness as a blocker.
Athlete: Hunter Johnson, Snow Canyon HS Sr.
Johnson had a productive year being one of the top leaders in the 4A Class in both passing and rushing TDs. This duel threat player has good accuracy as a passer and good mobility that shows burst and acceleration as a runner.
