I’ve been pretty familiar with the White over the years, and today, it’s all about the seniors! The following four seniors played a major role with their programs this season, and I am excited to showcase these guys!
WR/SB | Egan Sullivan | Grosse Pointe South
Egan has shown a ton of potential in the slot and, at his best, has a bit of an Amon-Ra St. Brown type of game. I love how Egan is able to catch balls in traffic and use his speed to evade DBs. He’s great when playing a speed-in-space type role and was utilized well over his years. He’s a dynamic athlete that was well-represented in the media all season! I think he deserves to play some college ball, and I’m interested to see what opportunities he may receive.
S | Amare Snowden Amare Snowden 6'4" | 190 lbs | DB Roseville | 2023 State MI | Roseville
Snowden is the crowned jewel of MAC White prospects. An elite safety, Snowden is amazing in all types of coverage and isn’t afraid to stop the run. He posted more than a few INTs this season, and I love how patient he is with the ball once he intercepts it. Next, his journey heads to Madison, where he’ll be a Wisconsin Badger! I hope to see Snowden shine in the Red and White, and hopefully, he can play a major role in revamping the Badger defense. Once a Cincinnati commit, Snowden follows coach Fickell to Madison.
MLB/RB | Keegan Tackett | Lakeview
Keegan was an incredibly important two-way player this season! Offensively, he played an essential role in the T-Wing offense as a lead blocker and RB. He was a great power option as he could deliver big blocks or big hits, gaining essential yardage. Defensively, he’s a brick wall and a hard-hitter. Don’t get in Keegan’s way because he’ll punish you! Tackett will be hard to replace next season, as he was truly one of Lakeview’s most valuable players.
RB | Alan OuYang Alan OuYang 6'0" | 205 lbs | RB L’anse Creuse | 2023 MI | L’Anse Creuse
I had the opportunity to watch Ouyang last summer at Northwood’s camp. He was one of the top performers from that showcase, as he consistently won 1v1s with linebackers in impressive fashion. He’s incredibly shifty and able to go to work in the open field. He’s extremely fast, running an 11.0 100M dash with amazing open-field ability. He’s a sure-fire DIII prospect, and I think that’s where he’ll end up. In college, I could easily see him going into more of a slot role.
