Aaron Philo Aaron Philo 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB Prince Avenue Christian | 2024 State GA – QB – 2024 – Prince Avenue Christian
Aaron Philo Aaron Philo 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB Prince Avenue Christian | 2024 State GA is once again one of the most productive QBs in Georgia. This time, he has a state championship to show for it. Coming into the postseason, Philo had already solidified himself as a legit D1 prospect with serious upside. After a strong state championship showing, his ceiling could be even higher than it was before. During his ridiculous state championship performance which consisted of 477 passing yards and 6 TDs, Philo showed excellent timing and mechanics, as well as the ability to make throws to all levels of the field. Each year, Philo seems to prove his consistency. If I was a betting man, I would bet on Philo to receive some well-deserved attention nationally.
Geimere Latimer Geimere Latimer 5'10" | 175 lbs | QB Sandy Creek | 2023 State GA – QB – 2023 – Sandy Creek
The Sandy Creek signal caller put on a gutsy performance as he willed his squad to a state championship victory over Cedar Grove. Latimer did damage with his arm and his legs, highlighted by a gutsy 4th and 22 scramble for a first down to set up a game-winning sequence. Earlier in the postseason against Carver, Latimer wowed with over 300 yards passing and 4 TDs. Latimer is a fluid runner that can play numerous positions, and do it well. The experienced QB has checked a lot of boxes in his career, and he’ll now be able to check off the state championship box.
Cameron Robinson Cameron Robinson 6'0" | 180 lbs | DB Norcross | 2024 GA – RB – 2024 – Mill Creek
Cameron Robinson Cameron Robinson 6'0" | 180 lbs | DB Norcross | 2024 GA produced this season despite being well underneath the radar on the recruiting scene. However, I think the secret is out on Robinson after he rushed for over 250 yards and 3 TDs to lead a talented Mill Creek squad to the 7A state title. Robinson had also put on a strong showing the week before against Milton. When watching Robinson play, you could see how elusive he was and his unique ability to change directions with ease. Keep an eye out for Robinson going into his senior season, as he is steadily emerging as one of the best RB prospects in the state.
Bryce Hicks Bryce Hicks 5'9" | 170 lbs | RB Carrollton | 2024 State GA – RB – 2024 – Carrollton
For a year now, I have been extremely high on Hicks and his playmaking ability, and I believe he is set to take off on the recruiting trail. All postseason, especially in the state championship game, Hicks flashed some serious playmaking ability and the extremely valuable ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. On one play, Hicks took a screen to the house, showing off some excellent vision and video game-like elusiveness. With his versatility and playmaking ability, Hicks is an intriguing prospect that deserves a look on the trail.
Bailey Stockton Bailey Stockton 5'11" | 175 lbs | WR Prince Avenue Christian | 2023 State GA – WR – 2023 – Prince Avenue Christian
Stockton put on a performance that will be talked about for years. Just a few weeks after breaking his collarbone, Stockton showed great perseverance by fighting through pain and suiting up for the state championship game. Stockton caught 9 passes for 145 yards and 2 TDs, showing off the ability to attack all levels of the field and make people miss in space. Stockton has numerous playmaking traits and the ability to fight through adversity, making him worthy of an opportunity at the next level. If he is done playing, this was certainly a way to be remembered.
