Continue ReadingGranada Hills is playing for a State Championship despite not completing a pass all season. They can do this because of Stanley and his speed. He is the state’s leader in rushing yards and averages 12.4 yards per carry.
Leigber is the state’s leader in rushing touchdowns. He also makes an impact as a safety and as a receiver. Holding Leigber under 200 yards and three touchdowns is a win for whoever plays Laguna Hills.
Cox is a defensive back that can effect the game in a variety of ways. He can be a lockdown defender in pass coverage, rush the passer and fly up the field to stop the run. Cox is also a leader on the Lincoln defense. He has offers from 13 schools including Arizona, Arizona State and Washington State.
Card is one of the fastest players in the state and is lethal on both sides of the ball and as a kick returner. He is an Oregon State commit and can cause matchup problems.
Edwards is one of the top linebackers in the state. He is elite at stopping the run and can get in the backfield when asked. He is one of the top players in UCLA’s 2023 recruiting class.
San Jacinto has one of the best offenses in Southern California and junior Dillon Gresham Dillon Gresham 6’1″ | 165 lbs | WR San Jacinto | 2024 State CA gets a lot of the publicity lately. But Holmes is a Washington commit for a reason. He has over 1,100 yards receiving with 13 touchdowns.
McClure is a receiver I love to watch because he is a smooth route runner with excellent body control. Teams cannot cover him in man coverage without some sort of safety help and he can make plays after the catch.
Rashada is likely the best quarterback in the state that is still playing for a State Championship. He always had the size and impressive arm, but he has shown an ability to read defenses this year and is incredibly poised.
