Gates took his official visit to Washington State last weekend and committed while on campus.
He had 9 other offers including Arizona State, Fresno State, New Mexico State and Northern Arizona.
Gates is the sixth player from California in Washington State’s 2023 recruiting class and the fifth offensive lineman.
Running back Jaelon Barbarin Jaelon Barbarin 5’10” | 185 lbs | ATH Chaminade | 2023 State CA announced his commitment to Michigan State on Wednesday.
Barbarin transferred to Chaminade from Simi Valley and he ran for 1133 yards with 13 touchdowns.
He also had offers from Washington State, Kansas State and San Jose State among others.
Barbarin is the second player from California in Michigan State’s recruiting class. He has elite speed and can be a slot receiver or a running back at the next level.
Highlights
The 6-foot-3 receiver announced his commitment to Utah Tech on December 6.
Lundy also had an offer from Idaho State. He visited Utah Tech shortly before announcing his commitment.
He is the first player from California in Utah Tech’s 2023 recruiting class and only the second player in the class overall.
The 6-foot-4 tight end announced his commitment to Fresno State on Monday after visiting the campus last weekend.
He had 52 catches for 780 yards and 15 touchdowns, plus three interceptions on defense and a kick return for a touchdown on special teams. He was a dual threat quarterback as a junior.
Lium also had offers from Colorado State, New Mexico, Rice and San Jose State among others.
The 6-foot-3 offensive lineman announced his commitment to UC Davis on Wednesday.
Souriolle is an interior offensive lineman. He chose UC Davis over seven other schools that offered him including Fresno State, Air Force, Nevada and New Mexico State among others.
He is the fourth player from California in UC Davis’ 2023 recruiting class. Souriolle is the second offensive lineman in the class joining Malik Cleveland of Rancho Cotate.
