Harvey is another special edge rusher but in the class of 2024. He is by far the best edge in Montgomery County. defensively he slashes and muscles his way into the backfield and creates negative plays continuously. Harvey even contributes on the offensive side of the ball at TE and shows of his true athleticism. Next season will be an exciting one, keep an eye on Harvey to see how he can improve even more. Harvey was named Montgomery County Defensive Player of the Year.
Highlights
Fedd is this season’s state sack leader with 18 total sacks! Josh is a work horse off of the edge, he has a nonstop motor. He uses a little bit of everything, some finesse techniques and quick power punches. He will chase the play all the way across the field and down the sideline and actually catch the ball carrier. Fedd was name Baltimore Defensive Player of the Year by Sports Majors, Baltimore sports news. Fedd currently holds a handful of offers including Harvard, Brown, and Penn.

Ojiegbe is a special player out of WCAC champ, St. Johns (DC). David played in opponents’ backfield this season, he’s bigger, faster, and stronger than majority of the players he encounters. The 4-star prospect plays with more than just brute strength, he showed some discipline in the championship game keeping the quarterback contained until he’s in position to make a play. David recently committed to Clemson.
Highlights
Stewart ended the season 2nd in the state in sacks with 16. He ended the season with 72 tackles, 5 forced fumbles and even a blocked punt + scoop and score. Stewart is very quick and explosive off the edge. A play from Stewart’s film vs St. Pauls, he was able to use a quick jab step and completely throw the offensive linemen off his mark. Sidneys relentless pressure helped Concordia Prep win its second MIAA championship in back-to-back years.
Johnson was named this year Montgomery County Player of the Year for his performance on the field this season. He was a weapon on both sides of the ball for Quince Orchard, helped them secure back-to-back State Championships. In the championship game, Kendall even had a blocked punt for a scoop and score touchdown. Johnson is a downright athlete, he’s able to play any position on the field with his skill set. Defensively he does a great job at setting the edge. He can use his strength and push linemen right into the ball carrier while also having the ability to cover screens and chase down plays all over the field.
Dunathan is a physically dominant player, named MVP 2 years in a row, 1st team all-county, and 1st team all-metro. He is an absolute wrecking ball; he causes fits for opposing back fields. One play that stands out in his film is when he chases down a running back pass. He hawks the defender down while flying past his own teammates. Dillon holds a few offers from Colgate, Merrimack, and Rhode Island, still uncommitted as of right now. Dillon’s dominance on both sides of the ball lead Damascus to a State Championship victory.
Highlights
Byard provides a bit of everything as a DB, he’s a very well-rounded safety. Tawfiq is a ball hawking safety in coverage with receiver like ball skills. He uses his size and physicality to make an impact in run support, he sticks his nose in and chops defenders down. This past season he recorded 7 interceptions, and for sure knows what to do with the ball in his hands. Tawfiq is committed to the University of South Florida.
Highlights
Davy is an enforcer in the secondary, able to help in the box and in pass coverage. Davy is the hardest hitting DB in the state, that aggressive play helped SJC accomplish back-to-back WCAC Championships. Davy absolutely flies around making plays in the backfield, perimeter and in the secondary. He also contributes on special teams further showing that you can place him anywhere and expect him to make a play. Davy flipped from Cincinnati to NC State.
Highlights
Cam was lights out this season, helping Archbishop Carroll get to its first WCAC championship in 34 years. He recorded 6 interceptions and 3 pick 6’s this season including a championship sealing 70+ yard pick 6.
