Grant Hetherton Grant Hetherton 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Brighton | 2024 State MI was named QB MVP of the event and is a name you need to get familiar with ASAP. The 2024 field general has been dominating camps and showcases since his sophomore year, and entering his senior year he is set to do big thing for the Bulldogs. Last year, Grant got some serious playing time and looked like a season vet out there. He has amazing footwork, sneaky speed, great timing on his comebacks & corner route throws, can stretch the field vertically, and TAKES WHAT THE DEFENSE GIVES HIM. The most impressive thing Grant put on display yesterday, is he made all the right reads in 2v2s… he understands leverage and combined with his ball placement… his a nightmare for a defensive coordinator. Look out for Grant Hetherton Grant Hetherton 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Brighton | 2024 State MI stock to raise enterIng the 2023 season.
Nigell Johnson- Carman Ainsworth 2023
Nigell is just that dude. Named the camps Runner Up MVP, Johnson put on a clinic and made DBs look like rookies. The 2023 gun slinger is beyond calm and confident in his ability and makes every throw look smooth and effortless. I was real impressed by his quick release and zip he puts on his throws. He displayed amazing arm strength, accuracy and was very coachable in between reps and drills. Every time Johnson stepped up for a rep I saw college recruits focus up. He has a great build and acts like a young man who will take charge of the locker room. If Nigell Johnson isn’t on your radar, he should be now.
Cory I. Chavis Cory I. Chavis 6'5" | 195 lbs | QB Redford Union | 2023 MI – Redford Union 2023
This dude is an offensive coordinators absolute dream. Standing at 6’5 205lbs, the Panthers play callers is a freak with the ball in his hands. With offers already pouring in, Chavis consistently shows up to showcases and dominates. He has amazing footwork, quick release, great touch and great accuracy on his deep shots. The one attribute that is unseen… his work ethic! This young man puts in the work! His is constantly working on his craft, weather that’s in the gym, on the field, watching film or on the board. He a true student of the game and whichever college he lands at is going to get an absolute leader at QB1.
Brady Raymond- Pinckney 2023
Brady Raymond is just a straight up jock. The 2023 gun slinger is a beyond impressive dual- threat QB, but is also a standout defensive player as well. Brady just appeared at the Legacy All Star Game as an Outside Linebacker/ Nickel, balled out… then shows up 4 days later to the College Showcase for QB and damn near won QB MVP. His kid can play. Is a great fit to any team that runs, power read and counter read, but can also fit in an air raid system. Like a said earlier, the dude is a jock, so he shows amazing footwork in the pocket, can throw on the run, and his timing is a thing of beauty. Look for the Pirates QB to make a late push in the recruiting trail and land on a team as a pure athlete.
