We saw a lot of outstanding talent at the PRZ Nebraska/Iowa Stock Up Showcase. Players from the Panhandle to Eastern Iowa joined at the Iowa West sports plex to compete, get better, and gain college interest. Here are a few players that look like they could be Game Changers at the next level.
Kenneth Williams Kenneth Williams 5'11" | 180 lbs | ATH Lincoln | 2023 State NE | 2023 | RB/ATH | Lincoln | 6’0″ 180 lbs
A hidden gem in the 2023 class, Kenneth Williams Kenneth Williams 5'11" | 180 lbs | ATH Lincoln | 2023 State NE had a great day at the Stock Up Showcase. Kenneth is an all-around gamer that could play several positions at the next level. He did drills with the RBs, but he has solid hands and also played DB for the Links this year. Williams lit up the 40-yard dash with a speedy 4.47 time, the best among RBs and second overall, and posted a 4.81 in the shuttle drill, 9’2″ broad jump, and 7.56 L-drill to close out a great testing session. One thing I noticed about Kenneth’s game is how explosive he is with his cuts and his change of direction. This was especially present when running routes, where he was consistently able to create separation. He has top-tier footwork that helps him shift and glide on the field. Williams’ showcase performance, overall athleticism, and high ceiling garnered him RB MVP and an offer from Graceland University.
Caden Cetak Caden Cetak 6'4" | 220 lbs | DL Lincoln East | 2024 State NE | 2024 | DL | Lincoln East | 6’4″ 205 lbs
Lincoln East has a beast lurking on the defensive line. Junior Caden Cetak Caden Cetak 6'4" | 220 lbs | DL Lincoln East | 2024 State NE left quite an impression with his performance on Sunday, earning DL MVP honors. He tested out with some of the best numbers among defensive linemen. His 4.97 40-yard dash, 4.62 shuttle drill, 9’4″ broad jump were all tops among DL and his 7.71 L-drill was second in the same group. Cetak is a tall, lean defensive end prospect that uses his length and athleticism very well. He can get solid bend coming off the edge and uses his hands/length to create separation at the line. Caden looked explosive and violent with his hands when doing drills and 1v1. Cetak has great lateral movement and displays an non-stop motor. In his junior year, Cetak exploded for 45 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, 8 sacks, 6 pass break ups, and a forced fumble and will have big expectations going into his senior year.
Jayden Potter Jayden Potter 6'6" | 300 lbs | OL Lincoln North Star | 2024 State NE | 2024 | OL | Lincoln North Star | 6’6″ 290 lbs
I keep saying don’t sleep on those Lincoln North Star big men. OT Jayden Potter Jayden Potter 6'6" | 300 lbs | OL Lincoln North Star | 2024 State NE was one of a few Gator lineman in attendance and repped his team well with the nod for OL MVP honors. Potter looked good in combine testing with a 5.78 40-yard dash, 5.35 shuttle drill, 6’9″ broad jump, and 8.25 L-drill, showing he can move pretty well for someone his size. Jayden especially shined in position drills and 1v1 reps. Potter uses his upper body strength very well to keep control of his opponents while also displaying great footwork and a strong anchor. He is quick to get back in his set and has a strong, violent punch to stun defenders. Throw pads on him and you’ll see a MOVER on the offensive line that can excel in run blocking or pass protection.
Curtis Witte Curtis Witte 6'1" | 175 lbs | DB Lewis Central | 2024 State IA | 2024 | DB | Lewis Central | 6’1″ 175 lbs
One of the more underrated players in the Metro area, Lewis Central DB/ATH Curtis Witte Curtis Witte 6'1" | 175 lbs | DB Lewis Central | 2024 State IA , is ready to make noise on recruiting radars. Curtis has an outstanding season in which he was a star two-way player for the Titans. He hauled in 51 receptions for 998 receiving yards (2nd most in 4A), and 13 touchdowns, while snagging 8 interceptions on defense. Curtis can just flat out make plays and has a high football IQ. Witte ran a 4.85 40-yard dash, 4.44 shuttle drill, 9’6″ broad jump, and a blazing 6.94 in the L-drill. Witte is quick to flip his hips and can change direction with ease. He plays the ball aggressively regardless of whether he’s the intended target or looking to snag a pick. We didn’t get to see him in 1v1s but what he has put on tape is impressive enough.
Will Anderson Will Anderson 6'1" | 190 lbs | QB Bellevue West | 2026 State NE | 2026 | QB | Millard West | 6’0″ 177 lbs
Millard West’s Will Anderson Will Anderson 6'1" | 190 lbs | QB Bellevue West | 2026 State NE is one of the top young gun slingers in the state and showed why on Sunday. The Wildcat’s QB had a solid day in the testing session posting a 4.84 40-yard dash, 4.65 shuttle drill, 8’1″ broad jump, and a 7.47 L-drill which were all near the top among QBs. Anderson looks very poised when throwing the ball and the ball seems to leave his hands effortlessly. He can make passes to all levels of the field and can add good touch to his passes. Will has the measurables and arm to develop into one of the top QBs.
