Cade Adams – 2023 – DL – Dawson County
Adams is one of the more intriguing prospects I have watched on film all year. At 6’2 270, he has the frame to play on the interior DL, but he actually spends most of his time at the 5-tech spot. He is an extremely prolific pass rusher, finishing his season with 14 sacks and 21 TFLs. With his sheer size and strength, Adams does a great job of collapsing the pocket and being scrappy to get off blocks. He plays with tons of hustle and is relentless in his pursuit, playing through the whistle and exerting a lot of energy on each snap. For his size, he has surprisingly good bend around the edge and is fairly explosive. Along with his pass-rushing ability, he provides the defense with a strong and powerful defensive end to set the edge with. His future might be on the interior DL, but wherever he plays, he is going to play with a lot of energy and do his best to outplay anyone in front of him.
Maverick Schippmann – 2024 – ATH – South Forsyth
An athletic and versatile playmaker that produced at a high level this past season, especially on the offensive side of the ball. Schippmann finished with over 1000 total yards and found the endzone 12 times. At RB, Schippmann showcases some serious speed and explosiveness. He is able to run between the tackles as well as make defenders miss with quick cuts and great footwork. Along with his physical attributes, he is a scrappy runner that runs like he has a chip on his shoulder, fighting through tackles and chopping his feet to move piles. On film, he shows more than enough ability to catch passes out of the backfield, and can even split out wide and line up at WR. When you pair his offensive prowess with his ability to run all over the field on defense, you will find a complete prospect that still has some of his best football ahead of him. In my opinion, Schippman is one of the best-kept secrets in the state and could turn into a late bloomer on the recruiting trail.
Hunter Sheppard Hunter Sheppard 6'3" | 210 lbs | QB Peachtree Ridge | 2023 GA – 2023 – QB – Peachtree Ridge
Underrated signal caller that produced at a fairly high level as a senior before his season was cut short. Standing at around 6’2 200, Sheppard is a bigger QB that has a big arm, two boxes that not a lot of high school QBs are able to check. Sheppard doesn’t have a rocket arm, but he has more than enough arm strength to fit the ball into tight windows. He possesses a quicker, almost sidearm-like release, showing the ability to flick the ball all around the field and hit his receivers in stride. In the pocket, he doesn’t hold onto the ball and shows the willingness to take a hit as he lets the ball go. Sheppard checks a lot of physical boxes and is a fairly accurate QB with some serious tools. If you are in need of a last-minute addition to your class, do yourself a favor and take a chance on Sheppard.
Elias Ballard – 2023 – DB – Gainesville
Ballard is a pesky and aggressive DB that has a knack for making plays on the ball and causing turnovers. He might not have the “ideal” size for a corner on the outside, but he makes up for it with his effort and discipline. Ballard is a very fundamentally sound player, showing the ability to flip his hips and run with anyone. He stays on the receiver’s front hip and can turn around and find the ball at the last second to make a play on it. Ballard is a good tackler in space, so he is better when playing off coverage where he can show the ability to come downfield and stop the ball carrier in his tracks. With his hustle and peskiness, he is able to make some momentum-changing plays, such as chasing down a ball carrier in the open field and poking the ball away. Ballard has good instincts and plays with a lot of energy, which are the two reasons he has been able to make momentum-changing plays over the course of his career.
Andrew Rosinski Andrew Rosinski 6'6" | 280 lbs | OL Creekview | 2024 State GA – 2024 – OT – Creekview
For the last two or so years, Rosinski has been a prospect I have tracked closely. Now, he will finish his junior season with offers from Mississippi State, Duke, Vanderbilt, and East Carolina. More offers are absolutely on the way. Rosinski stands at around 6’6 275 and shows off some excellent athleticism and shiftiness. He is a very rangy big man, getting to the second level with ease and paving the way for screens 20+ yards downfield. Has elite upside as a pass blocker, showing great technique in his pass set, and has the speed to prevent defenders from getting around the edge. To me, he will be a true left tackle at the next level with his athleticism. Rosinski is raw, but so are most kids that carry a 6’6 275 frame. Where he needs to improve as a blocker is always coachable, but 6’6 275 with speed, range, and shiftiness is not. Look for Rosinski to become a household name in Georgia by the end of his senior season.
