The people that it is has the most impact on are the athletes and families of the athletes faxing in the paperwork. We are going to spotlight a few prospects that signed letters of intent yesterday and give a few prospects that as of this writing remain uncommitted.
Jordon Harris Jordon Harris 6'7" | 230 lbs | TE Pine Bluff | 2023 State AR -Tight End-Pine Bluff-Missouri Commit
The versatility that Harris possesses is one of the most impressive traits that I have seen out of an athlete in some time. Harris is a prospect in the passing game that has the potential to terrorize opposing defenses in the passing game. He had a tremendous senior season for the Pine Bluff Zebras. Harris is a prospect that earned the scholarship offer from the Missouri Tigers. He is a prospect that signed that could make an impact quickly for the Tigers. Congratulations go out to Harris on signing the national letter of intent.
Josh Ficklin Josh Ficklin 5'10" | 195 lbs | RB Bentonville | 2023 State AR -Running Back-Bentonville-Illinois State-Commit
Over the past few years, Bentonville running back Josh Ficklin Josh Ficklin 5'10" | 195 lbs | RB Bentonville | 2023 State AR has been one of the most consistent running backs in the state of Arkansas. He is a patient running back that has no problem rushing between the tackles. Meanwhile, he has the speed to cut the run to the outside and take it down the sideline. Ficklin signed his national letter of intent yesterday to play for Illinois State. Ficklin is a running back that I expect to see earn some snaps over the next two seasons.
Quincy Rhodes Jr.-Linebacker-North Little Rock-Arkansas-Commit
Quincy Rhodes Jr. is a prospect that can play the edge rusher position or just as easily drop back and play the linebacker. He has that tremendous speed and power mix that allows him to disrupt the opposing offensive backfield. Rhodes Jr. is able to disrupt both the passing and rushing attacks of the opposing offense. He committed to the Arkansas Razorbacks fairly early in his recruiting and has maintained his commitment. Rhodes Jr. is going to be a prospect to watch out for over the next few years.
Allen Thomason Allen Thomason 6'5" | 255 lbs | OL Pulaski Academy | 2023 State AR -Offensive Line-Pulaski Academy-Stanford Commit
The offensive line talent in the state of Arkansas has always been extremely impressive. Pulaski Academy’s Allen Thomason Allen Thomason 6'5" | 255 lbs | OL Pulaski Academy | 2023 State AR has the versatility to play all along the offensive line. Thomason displays impressive quickness and is able to get out of the stance and into the opposing defender quickly. He plays with a chip on his shoulder and is a prospect to watch as he gets going at Stanford. Stanford has a history of putting offensive linemen in the NFL and that will be something to watch with Thomason over the next few years.
Joey Su’a Joey Su’a 6'5" | 320 lbs | OL Bentonville | 2023 State AR -Offensive Line-Bentonville-Arkansas Commit
One of the best offensive line prospects in the state will have a chance to anchor the Arkansas offensive line over the next few years. Su’a is an explosive offensive lineman with the power to punish opposing pass rushers. He does a great job of pass blocking and is an impressive run blocker as well. Su’a looks to finish every block and look for the next defender to block. Su’a signed with the Arkansas Razorbacks on Monday and in the process kept a major target for Sam Pittman’s staff at home.
