In class Class 1A Division I, the Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines took down a very talented Swainsboro squad by a 52-34 win. In Class 1A Division II, the Bowdon Red Devils won a tight game late against a quality Schley County team loaded with D1 talent.

Aaron Philo Aaron Philo 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB Prince Avenue Christian | 2024 State GA – QB – Prince Avenue Christian
He may not have a crazy offer list right now, but that should change soon as Philo proved once again that he’s an easy D1-caliber talent. A mobile quarterback with a high football IQ, Philo showed poise, leadership, and accuracy all night long, leading Prince Avenue to another Class A state championship. One of the most productive quarterbacks across Georgia during the fall, Philo ended his junior season on a high note, going 21/32 with 477 passing yards 6 touchdown passes in their big 52-34 win. He was excellent in the 2nd half and played better and better as the season went on. His 4th-quarter touchdown pass to receiver Bailey Stockton Bailey Stockton 5'11" | 175 lbs | WR Prince Avenue Christian | 2023 State GA was as good of a throw you’ll see all weekend, and it gave Prince Avenue a lead they would not give up. Look for his stock to take off this offseason.
TJ Harvison TJ Harvison 6'1" | 200 lbs | RB Villa Rica | 2023 State GA – RB – Bowdon
One of the top 2023 running back prospects playing in a state championship game, the three-star ran wild in his final game of his high school career, leading thee Red Devils to their first state championship in 30 years. A back that looks like a wide receiver, Harvison is tough, breaks tackles, and has natural big-play ability. The senior rushed for 200 yards and one TD in the big victory and put the Red Devil offense on his back at times. Dealing with cramps, Harvison made some tough runs to wear the game down in thee end after getting them on board early with an impressive touchdown run, eluding multiple defenders on his way for an early score. He was named Offensive Player of the Game after thee big state-championship victory.
Josh Britt – Prince Avenue Christian
A big wide receiver with excellent speed, Britt was dominant on Thursday night as he ran wild through thee Swainsboro defense all game long. A tough, reliable receiver with great hands, Britt showed he was a vertical threat as well as a major weapon in the screen game. His 68-yard catch and run with just under four minutes left in the game put Prince Avenue up double-digits which would essentially seal the victory. He also added an impressive 50+ yard catch and run, zig-zagging his way down the field. In the end, while dominating on defense as well, Britt had over 200 yards of receiving and three touchdowns on offense. He was without a doubt one of the top performers on offense from day one.
Bailey Stockton Bailey Stockton 5'11" | 175 lbs | WR Prince Avenue Christian | 2023 State GA – WR – Prince Avenue Christian
In a performance for the ages, the Wolverine senior and team captain is coming off collarbone surgery just 14 days ago and stepped up time after time for Prince Avenue on Thursday night. A speedy, explosive receiver in the last game of his career, Stockton game a performance he’ll remember forever with two long touchdown catches in their big state-championship win over Swainsboro. He got the Wolverines on the board early as he used his speed to get behind the defense for a long catch and run. He also added a 4th quarter touchdown from 27-yards out that gave the Wolverines a lead that they would not give up, securing the victory. Stockton caught a perfect pass over the shoulder that will be remembered forever in thee Prince Avenue community. He left his mark in Georgia football history on Thursday night.
Robert Mcneal – QB – Bowdon
An impressive dual-threat quarterback who showed up in a big way, Mcneal helped throw and run Bowden to victory against a talented Schley County team. He was accurate with the ball, had total command of the offense, and kept the Wildcat’s defense off balanced with his legs. He threw two touchdowns in the ballgame with another tough, touchdown run late in the 3rd quarter, breaking tackles all along the way. Moree importantly, he gave Bowdon a key double-digit lead. The offense needed a big play, and from 28-yards out, Mcneal delivered the biggest run of his career. He, along with senior TJ Harvison TJ Harvison 6'1" | 200 lbs | RB Villa Rica | 2023 State GA , helped lead Bowdon to their first state championship in 30 years.
