-One of two very impressive Cornerback’s the 14U AYF National Champion Mississippi Wolfpack were blessed to have flanking the outside. Listed at 5-foot-7 and 130-pounds but he looks taller than that
-Wrote about him a few months ago and he has continued to light it up, especially with his man-to-man coverage while at AYF Nationals
-Fundamentally sound 2027 prospect who stays low in his back pedal and only flips his hips when he needs to because of his quickness
-One of the most complete and balanced Running Backs I’ve seen in this class of 2027. Blessed with equal part speed and power at 5-foot-11 and 180-pounds, he’s a load to bring down
-Was one of, if not the key member of the Tupelo Middle School football team this year that went undefeated for a second season in a row. Then played club ball with the MS Wolfpack after the school season
-On a MS Wolfpack team with a lot of talented athletes ranging from class of 2026-2028, Bobo was a consistent player that picked up a lot of yards on the ground and held on to the ball despite swarming defenses
-A new prospect that I didn’t know about before the week at AYF Nationals, but certainly will remember going forward after watching him in [person and on film
-Gibbs is a really good looking prospect at 5-foot-11 and 155-pounds that plays the Linebacker position almost like an extension of the secondary. He’s a rangy athlete that looks like an ideal future Outside Linebacker as he continues to grow
-Had an impressive season at Richland Junior High School at both Running Back and Linebacker. Right now doesn’t appear to have the sprinter speed needed to make a big splash as a Running Back, but he’s twitchy and has the short burst explosiveness all good Linebackers have
Limarcus Jones
Limarcus Jones
-Great size and length for a 2027 Defensive Line prospect at 6-foot-2, nearly 6-foot-3 and in the neighborhood of 225-pounds
-Quite raw at the position in terms of pass rush moves and using his hands and hips to avoid blockers, but he has natural strength and ability that allows him to have success despite not being buttoned up fundamentally
-Not sure it it’s based off physical looks, stature, jersey number, or all of the above, but he looks like a young Calais Campbell. Campbell is 15-year NFL vet and six-time Pro Bowler. If Jones can come anywhere close to that, I’d call it a successful run in football
Amare Lumpkin
Amare Lumpkin
-Another 2027 prospect I didn’t know or get to see before the week at AYF Nationals, but glad I met him. After last year’s MS Wolfpack team featured future P5 talent in 2026 Dereon Albert Dereon Albert 6’3″ | 255 lbs | DL Jackson Academy | 2026 State MS , this group had a hard act to follow but Lumpkin did a pretty good job
-In the 5-foot-11, 270-pound range, it looks like Lumpkin has continued to really transform his body from comparing what I saw in person to clips from last year. Appears to be growing taller, cutting unnecessary weight and starting to build muscle
-At 5-foot-11 he benefitted from his pretty average height by using leverage and staying low to get under the opposing Offensive Linemen. He’s a stout kid and proved to be a boulder in the middle of that Wolfpack Defensive Line that offenses had to account for
