Arkansas 6A State Championship Players to Watch!

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Coming into the state title game a couple of key guys stand out to me from both teams. Both Pulaski Academy and Greenwood are explosive teams and have some amazing talent to hopefully boost them to a state title. Both squads are familiar with the infamous War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock which both teams have played in in the recent past.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>For Greenwood I'm watching the skill players mostly. When I was watching the Benton game last week I took note of lots of dropped balls and missed holes in either their screen game or their run game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Greenwood Bulldogs</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='364854' first='Cody' last='Taylor']</strong> - <strong>Greenwood</strong> - <strong>Freshman</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='364854' first='Cody' last='Taylor'] has stepped up this season as a Freshman! Cody has been a phenomenal lineman for the Bulldogs on both freshman and their varsity squad so far. I believe that depth for the Bulldogs is what will win them this game and I think Cody is one of the pieces to that winning puzzle!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='160308' first='Hunter' last='Houston']</strong> - <strong>Quarterback</strong> - <strong>Senior</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Houston has had a great season this year! I think he'll have a great state title appearance but also a better turnover ration than last week. Against Benton he threw for 3 interceptions, one being a pick 6 on their first drive. I think this week he's going to be more disciplined and more accurate with his big shot plays. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='214772' first='Jake' last='Glover'] </strong>-<strong> Running Back</strong> - <strong>Senior</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jake had a good night against the Panthers last week in the Semifinal win! I think one of the keys to success for the Bulldogs in their running game! Overall I think he will have good night against the Bruins if the offensive line can hold the blocks and keep gap integrity!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Pulaski Academy Bruins</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='122156' first='Allen' last='Thomason']</strong> - <strong>Tackle</strong> - <strong>Senior</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the better offensive lineman I've seen this season has most defiantly shown out so far! He has great get off speed and I think that's one reason that Pulaski is on course to get the win this week! I believe Allen will have a successful game as he finishes out his Senior season and pick the ring up this Firday!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='149931' first='Kenneth' last='Jordan'] </strong>- <strong>Running Back</strong> - <strong>Junior</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Last week Jordan had a great night against the Rockets in picking up the win! I think that momentum will defiantly carry over to hopefully get a win in the title game! He has great strength in his game, from what I've seen. I was pleased to see the routes and his break away speed from him! He has some great all around speed and great athleticism to add to his game!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This weeks state title game will come down to the wire like it did in the regular season, I believe.
