In Texas, all of the state games are held in one place The AT&T Stadium in Dallas, TX. One of the best Stadiums in the country and there we get to witness the results of all these young men’s hard work. The game I will be covering is the final game which was The Duncanville Panthers vs The North Shore Mustangs. These two have been consistently meeting at state for a couple of years now this could be a new-age rivalry, especially between Houston and Dallas. Duncanville is out for revenge from last year’s state champion loss against defending state champions North Shore.
It was a back-and-forth game Duncanville scored the 1st two touchdowns then North Shore answered back by scoring three. By the end of the 1st half, Duncanville scored again tying the game at 21-21 by halftime. It was hard fought battle by both teams especially on the defensive side once Duncanville scored again North Shore couldn’t get past Duncanville’s defense. Therefore, the final score of the game was 28-21 making The Duncanville Panthers The 2022 6A Division I State Champions. Both teams fought extremely hard and in this article, I’ll be breaking down The North Shore Mustangs’ defensive standouts.
