The 2024 rankings have updated and went live. With that, there are now over 300 players ranked in the 2024 class with more to come. Today, we are looking at five of the highest risers in the rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='322399' first='Jace' last='Stuckey'] - Triton Central - QB - 6'2" 180lbs - 2024

Stuckey came out and had his best year to date. The previous year, he showed a ton of potential but needed an offseason and full season to put it all together. He did exactly that and looked fantastic doing it. He's got a legit 6'2" frame that allows him to see well. He's decent in the pocket and never rushes, even when things break down around him. He will have 2 feet planted and make the throw. He is able to throw on the run as well and could be someone who thrives in play action. He's got a decent arm in terms of strength and accuracy is his best trait. He's able to come off reads and go through his progressions as well. Little things all add up and Stuckey really put it all together this year. He helped lead Triton Central to 10 wins while throwing over 30TDs on the year. After he gets another offseason under his belt, his rank likely rises even more. A fantastic season by one of the now higher ranked QBs in the state.

Previous Rank: 277

New Rank: 57

Twitter: @StuckeyJace

HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/14487903/Jace-Stuckey

[player_tooltip player_id='541846' first='NiTareon' last='Tuggle'] - Northwood - WR - 6'3" 190lbs - 2024

Tuggle has not only taken the state by storm, but he's taken the country by storm and is getting some national recognition, and for good reason. We're looking at a freak athlete who stands at 6'3" and can jump halfway to Mars. He's got elite speed and can take the top off of a defense. He's able to go up and win contested catches and make DBs look silly doing it. Sometimes, there are guys who just break out and everyone understands he's going to be a dude at the next level, and that's likely the case here. He's got some twitch to his game and is explosive out of cuts. He carries his weight well and can get low without losing much momentum. Tuggle is young, no doubt, but man the raw talent and potential is there to be something special. He checks every single box you're looking for in a recruit at the WR position and there's a reason schools are after him. Get to know the name [player_tooltip player_id='541846' first='NiTareon' last='Tuggle'] because it isn't going anywhere except your TV on Saturdays.

Previous Rank: N/A

New Rank: 15

Twitter: @Nitrotuggle3

HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/14806048/NiTareon-Tuggle

[player_tooltip player_id='390758' first='Terrell' last='Caldwell'] - Calumet New Tech - WR - 5'10" 150lbs - 2024

Caldwell is someone who lit up the Prep Redzone showcase, but it's deeper than that. He didn't just light up a camp, he lit up the season. There's a reason he was there, there's a reason he's on radars, and boy did he look good this year. He's not quite a polished route runner, but the potential is there to develop into an elite route runner. He's twitchy, cuts on a dime, and can change direction with the best of them. His body is loose and fluid and he can adjust to a ball in the air. In 11 games this season he put up 1250 yards and 16 TDs. Simply put, he was unguardable and always found a way to get open. He's able to read coverage and leverage on the fly and get open that way. He's a smart player on the field and he's also always asking questions. Last but not least, this dude can FLY. He recorded the fastest 40 of the showcase where he clocked in at 4.44. We're talking about an incredibly fast WR who runs some of the best routes in the 24 class and is still getting better. All green lights on Caldwell next year because he's going to be someone everyone should be watching.

Previous Rank: 192

New Rank: 28

Twitter: @TJ_Caldwell13

HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/14806048/NiTareon-Tuggle

[player_tooltip player_id='541923' first='Kolson' last='Clemons'] - Union City - OL - 6'5" 275lbs - 2024

Clemons just won his second All-State award and it's about time he got the respect he deserves, from me. I try to hit all schools across the state but it all takes time. However, with Clemons there's no excuses to be made. He's one of the most consistent players in the entire state at any level. Game after game, down after down, year after year, Clemons is there and is a steady force for that offensive line. His 6'5" frame is real and he's been able to grow into it nicely. He doesn't feel clunky and has good hand/eye coordination. He's a nimble athlete who can go on the move as well. He's someone who will start at Tackle for a program down the road. Where it to be determined but I imagine if Clemons comes out and has another season similiar to his previous 2, he'll have no issue finding a home at the next level. A 6'5" tackle who can protect the blindside of any QB is someone who should be on the first visits to campus. Big things are in store for Clemons and I'm pretty excited to see what he does next year and where he ends up.

Previous Rank: N/A

New Rank: 60

Twitter: @Ksclemons72

HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/16588743/Kolson-Clemons

Dantu Gardner - Lawrence North - DE - 6'4" 205lbs - 2024

Gardner is a fantastic athlete who comes off of the edge. This past season he really figured it all out and dominated. He's a freakish athlete with a lengthy frame who can get off the ball with the best of them. He's able to bend and use his speed around the corner as well as win to the inside. His arm length gives him a bunch of advantages when it comes to first reach and touch. He's able to set the edge and force guys back inside as well. At DE this year he had 102 total tackles, 6 TFL's, and 7 sacks. That many tackles as an on the ball DE isn't supposed to be possible, especially in only 10 games played. He's a menace to society and opposing running games found that out the hard way. Lawrence North as a whole had a down year but Gardner did not. He broke out to a new level this fall and in my opinion, separated himself from some others that were near him. Everything about him on the field checks out and if he's able to put together another big year, he could be hand-picking where he wants to go to school.

Previous Rank: 157

New Rank: 25

Twitter: @Dantugardner3

HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/13285474/Dantu-DJ-Gardner

[player_tooltip player_id='109626' first='Trey' last='Stephens'] - Merrillville - ATH - 6'1" 205lbs - 2024

Stephens is a ton of fun to watch because you'll see him light it up on both sides of the ball. Defensively, he's a head hunting safety who can, and will, lay the wood, legally. If he sees something and is able to diagnose it, he's coming 110MPH and isn't letting up. He's got intentions to jar that ball loose and make sure the ball carrier remembers his name. Stephens has a ton of range and is able to cover the entire field when playing Safety. He's played Nickel as well and showed the same versatility. On offense, he's a fun RB to watch. He's got a nice combination of power and speed. He's shown to be an incredibly effective goal-line back as well. While Stephens is a 2-way player, I think he can be a superstar DB. With his thicker frame, elite speed, and ability to hit he could be one of those safeties down the road where it's game planned all week to avoid him. He's just a bit raw but the athletiscm and potential is there.

Previous Rank: N/A

New Rank: 40

Twitter: @Trey_Stephens2

HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/14730650/Trey-Stephens
