John Kostuch– Ridge Community High c/o 25
5’11 165lbs
Kostuch had a very impressive sophomore season for Ridge Community. He was selected 2nd team All-District in 2022. He led the district in passing throwing for 1,758 yards, completing 53% of his passes, with 18 touchdowns through the air in 9 games. He also had three rushing touchdowns on the season. He is an extremely smart player on and off the field and possesses a 4.46 GPA! Kostuch shows impressive deep ball placement and timing, his intelligence allows him to speed up his processing to deliver strikes to the short and intermediate areas. Keep an eye on this QB, he will continue to get better the next few seasons.
Joseph Tarver- Winter Haven High c/o 23
6’0 165lbs
Tarver was an outstanding dual threat quarterback this season for Winter Haven. He finished second the district passing for 1,598 yards, completing 53% of his passes with 12 touchdowns through the air. Carver finished second on the team in rushing with 1,124 yards, averaging an outstanding 11 yards per carry with nine rushing touchdowns and four 100 yd rushing gains. He led the Blue Devils to an 8-4 regular season record and into the second round of the state playoffs. Tarver is a versatile athlete that is very good running the football, shows good vision, acceleration, and speed to the edge, has the arm strength to hit intermediate routes and can throw on the run.
Samauri Wilson- Haines City High c/o 25
6’1 180lbs
Wilson is a dual-sport (Baseball) athlete out of Haines City High. The sophomore prospect wasn’t asked to throw very often, however when he did he was effective passing for 341 yards, completing 54% of his passes with five touchdowns. He also finished with three rushing touchdowns on the season. Athletic and instinctive when feeling pressure, uses his feet to extend plays and can take off and be a threat down the field. Can throw on the run from either side, flashes potential as a passer and will continue to get better and develop the next few seasons.
