Butler has established himself as one of the top 2024 recruits in the nation regardless of position pulling in 27 total offers from many of the elite D1 programs. He’s an exceptional athlete with great versatility and explosiveness to be an impact player on both sides of the ball. Excellent ability in coverage using his combination of athleticism, speed, quickness, and change of direction. His transition and burst out of his break allows him to close space quickly and make big time plays in coverage. A physical player that is always attacking and looking to finish his opponents to the ground. Early commit to USC in January 2022 but has seen his recruiting skyrocket since then with offers coming in from Alabama, Tennessee, Michigan, Notre Dame, and Georgia to name a few.
Rose projects as a DB at the college level but has shown good versatility on both sides of the ball at Whitney. He’s a shut down corner at 6’0” 160 lbs. that has the speed and change of direction to cover the whole field and excels in deep coverage. He’s smooth in the hips and possesses fluid athleticism to match lateral movement or plant and drive on the ball. Triggers quickly using his instincts and anticipation to jump routes. He’s a ball hawk that shows excellent range, recovery speed, and ball skills. Love his ability to sustain tight coverage and bait QB’s into bad decisions. Initially offered by Portland State last March but pulled in four PAC12 offers after a strong performance at the Sacramento State camp in June. Since then he also added Arizona to his list of offers.
Gaines checks a lot of boxes as a major D1 prospect with his wide skillset and combination of size and athleticism. At 6’1” 200 lbs. he has the frame and speed to be an explosive playmaker lining up at almost any skilled position including RB, WR, DB, or LB. The game comes very naturally to him with excellent playmaking ability and game awareness. He flashes plus vision and short area burst through the second level as a RB and shows great ball skills and tracking ability at WR. He’s got a great nose for the football on the defensive side to diagnose plays as they are developing. Possesses good reactionary quickness and transitional speed to close space on the ball in coverage and in run support. Violent and physical on both sides of the ball, he seeks contact and plays with good leverage to be strong at the POA. Offer list thus far includes Arizona, Boise State, San Diego State, and Washington but would expect his recruiting stock to be on the rise as the recruiting cycle progresses.
Green picked up his first offer from Portland State in March but his recruiting really took off after his performance at the Sacramento State camp that saw him pull in three PAC12 offers from Cal, Arizona, and Washington State. At 5’11” 200 lbs. he’s a gifted athlete with game breaking potential in all three phases. He’s an explosive play waiting to happen at the RB position where he flashes great natural instincts and vision as a ball carrier. Very smooth running style that is strong and physical at the POA but shows plus lateral agility and elusiveness at the second level and in space. Can stop on a dime and has good short area burst to accelerate out of his quick lateral cuts and pull away from defenders. Runs hard behind his pads with good contact balance, leverage, and pad level to break tackles and pick up tough yardage between the tackles. Also holds offers from Fresno State, San Jose State, and Oregon State.
