Omar Argott Omar Argott 6'2" | 175 lbs | QB Hobbs | 2023 State NM , Hobbs: Argott emerged as one of the top quarterbacks in New Mexico by leading the Eagles to a top four seed, throwing for 2,377 yards and 31 TD in his one season as Hobbs’ starting QB. He completed 65 percent of his passes. Argott also rushed for 881 yards and 10 TD on 118 carries.
Ciyllis Cole-Roy, Miyamura: One of the most underrated players in the Four Corners, Cole-Roy rushed for close to 1,000 yards and 13 TD in his only year wit the Miyamura varsity.
Logan Howell Logan Howell 6'2" | 180 lbs | QB Piedra Vista | 2023 State NM , Piedra Vista: Another Four Corners standout who emerged this season as an elite quarterback. Howell led the Panthers to the Class 5A state championship game with his elite skills as a dual threat quarterback.
Chris Jinzo Chris Jinzo 5'9" | 170 lbs | WR West Mesa | 2023 State NM , West Mesa: The Mustangs didn’t make the playoffs but they had one of the best (and most entertaining) wide receiver corps in the state with Jinzo, Chris Johnson Chris Johnson 5'9" | 135 lbs | WR West Mesa | 2023 State NM and Robert Ramirez Robert Ramirez 5'9" | 150 lbs | WR West Mesa | 2023 State NM . Jinzo had 32 receptions for 484 yards and 3 TD for West Mesa. New Mexico Highlands has offered.
Marcus Leyba Marcus Leyba 5'11" | 170 lbs | RB St. Michael's | 2023 State NM , St. Michael’s: The 6-foot-1, 178-pound Leyba has good size and runs the 40 in under 4.5 seconds. He helped lead St. Michael’s to the Class 3A state championship game with 1,240 all-purpose yards, 900 rushing yards and 18 TD. He deserves an opportunity at the next level.
Aaron Loya Aaron Loya 6'2" | OL Highland | 2023 State NM , Highland: Loya is one of the top OL/DL in Albuquerque. Highland was one of the most improved teams in Class 5A this past season and Loya played a major role in the Hornets improvement.
Andrew Maldonado Andrew Maldonado 6'5" | 295 lbs | OL Los Lunas | 2023 State NM , Los Lunas: The 6-foot-5, 295-pound Maldonado has to be an intimidating presence across the line of scrimmage for most opponents.
DJ Moore, Carlsbad: The 6-foot-2, 230-pound Moore was part of a very good Carlsbad defensive line this season. How good was Moore? He has been offered by Eastern New Mexico, Western New Mexico, New Mexico Highlands and McPherson College.
Marcus Perea Marcus Perea 6'1" | 225 lbs | DL Volcano Vista | 2023 State NM , Volcano Vista: Perea enjoyed an outstanding season for Volcano Vista with 71 tackles, 9 TFL and 2 sacks as a defensive end for the Hawks. He was named 2nd team All-State, 1st team All-Metro and 1st team All-District.
Fabian Reyna Fabian Reyna 5'9" | 170 lbs | WR Deming | 2023 State NM , Deming: Reyna emerged as one of the state’s top running backs and wide receivers in 2022, earning All-State honors. Reyna contributions in a variety of ways helped Deming reach the 5A semifinals. Adams State (CO) and McPherson College (KS) have offered.
