Top Performers
The senior linebacker was the heart and soul of this Longwood team. He’s a prototype hard hitting middle linebacker at 6 ‘2 221. Against run heavy teams, Hauser was relied on and made so many plays despite being keyed in on by offensive coordinators. He has a great ability to read and react so quickly and make plays. Hauser separated himself from other MLB’s, with his footwork. He can drop back in pass coverage and he contributed greatly on offense as a tight end.
Highlights
The lightning bolt of a running back had a great senior season for Longwood. Robinson was a big play threat anytime he took a handoff. His acceleration was a part of his game that really stuck out. He broke away from defenders and either picked up large amounts of yards, or key first downs for the Lions. At 5’9 155, Robinson was a threat running to the outside, but he showed great ability to run in between the tackles. The speedster tallied plenty of yards after contact.

Breakout Stars
Easily one of the most impactful defenders in Suffolk County. Hammel was a very hard hitter and is every bit of 6’3 and 228 pounds. He had a quick get off and was a nightmare coming off the edge. He finished with 14 sacks and led the team with 80 tackles. Hammel showed he can bull rush or use his speed to get by the opposition’s offensive lineman to make a play.
Dameon Charles
Dameon Charles
After tearing his ACL in 2021, Charles made an incredible comeback this past season on the field. He’s a very talented athlete who played great in pass coverage for Longwood. He was great in man or zone coverage with his terrific agility. He was challenged against run heavy offenses and rose to the occasion with making key tackles for the Lions defense.
Stars Ready to Shine
Clint Chichester
Clint Chichester
After contributing a lot as a freshman, the sophomore center was one of the anchors of this Lions offensive line. Longwood was fantastic at pounding the rock up the middle thanks to Chichester. At 5 ’11 251, the youngster showed some impeccable strength. He has a strong base as he was a very powerful run blocker. In Suffolk County conference 1, he faced some very big defensive tackles, but Chichester stepped up, being one of the most effective 2025 offensive lineman in Suffolk county.
Prince Mack
Prince Mack
The 5’10 165 pound freshman was a weapon on defense. Mack’s versatility was a huge factor in his success. He was able to stop the run at the outside linebacker position. His pass coverage ability made him very efficient as a defender. As the season went on, he made big plays in important games. Going forward, Mack will only get bigger and stronger and he has the athleticism to play on both sides of the field. On defense he could either be an outside linebacker or a great player in the secondary.
