Whether it would be most passing yards or most sacks on the year, its still a huge accomplishment to attain that statistical achievement during the regular season. Let’s take a look at the statistical leaders for the 2023 regular season in the state of West Viriginia!
Most Passing Yards: Ethan Rosenau QB 6-2 190 Tucker County High School – 2,810 Passing Yards
He is an athletic quarterback that has a quick release to make key plays on the run if needed to throughout the duration of the game. He also added in 35 passing touchdowns and also had two rushing touchdowns to his already impressive statistical output for the 2023 regular season.
Most Rushing Yards: Jeremiah Riffle Jeremiah Riffle 6'0" | 215 lbs | RB Hurricane WV | 2023 WV RB 6-0 190 Hurricane High School – 1,840 Rushing Yards
A strong athletic running back that has good awareness to make the correct cut when needed to evade a defender or can lower his shoulder to get the tough yards. He added on the season as well 18 rushing touchdowns while averaging an eye popping 9.7 yards per carry for the regular season.
Most Receiving Yards: Maddox Anderson 6-0 150 Tucker County High School- 1,474 Receiving Yards
Joining his quarterback in being regular season stat leaders, he is an elusive wide receiver that runs crisp routes which allows him to create separation from defenders. He also added to his impressive regular season 41 receptions, 15 receiving touchdowns and averaged 106.7 yards per game!
