Before we move on and close out the regular season, we will dive into some of the top performances from around the Bay Area in week 11.
TE Cooper Haswell, Marin Catholic HS
Haswell is developing into a nice receiving target for Cook and this MC offense, and put on a show against San Marin in the MCAL championship on Friday night. Blocking physical all night, he also hauled in 3 passes for 146 yards including a 80+ yard score. He is also a solid blocker in the run game, gets downhill quickly and is strong at the POA.
DL Trent Carrade, Marin Catholic HS
Carrade has proven he is one of the Bay Areas best across the defensive line, and had a nice showing this week. He put together a impressive three sack performance, controlled the LOS consistently and won with power, leverage and explosion at the POA. He should gather D-II and FCS interest as he enters the Winter of his Senior year.
LB Nathan Rooks Nathan Rooks 6'1" | 225 lbs | LB St. Vincent De Paul | 2023 State CA , St. Vincent de Paul HS
Rooks is one of the top linebackers across the Bay Area, and has solidified himself as one of the best two-way players out of the North Bay. He is a physical and violent blocker from his fullback position, and can play both inside linebacker and defensive end while offering nice pass rush abilities off the edge and has a natural nose for the ball. Holding multiple offers already, he has been a four year starter for the Mustangs and has compiled a very impressive Senior season. Against a tough Carillo team in the NBL-Redwood league championship game, he had 6 tackles, 2 for loss and 2.5 sacks.
QB Kaleb Anderson, American Canyon HS
Anderson is one of the most under-talked about kids from around the region and a very impressive dual-threat signal caller. He has already gone over the 1,000/1,000 mark this season throwing and rushing and leads a tough and explosive American Canyon offense. This week against a very solid Petaluma defense, he ran for 154 yards and 3 TD’s.
WR Jackson Harris Jackson Harris 6'3" | 190 lbs | WR Berkeley | 2023 State CA , Berkeley HS
Harris is one of the fastest rising prospects across the Bay Area recently, and will likely find himself signing to a Pac-12 school come NSD. He had 5 receptions for 151 yards and 2 touchdowns while being a dominating presence downfield and winning on 50/50 balls. He gathered Cal and Stanford offers over the past couple of weeks and it would not surprise me if other Pac-12 schools came knocking as well.
WR Trevor Scott Trevor Scott 6'2" | 180 lbs | WR San Ramon Valley | 2023 State CA , San Ramon Valley HS
Scott has been having a terrific season for the number one seed in the NCS D-II bracket. He has the ability to play both in the slot and the outside, while showing exceptional tracking abilities and soft hands underneath with speed to get over safeties and always seems to find the end-zone while physical with the ball in his hands. On Friday night, he exploded for 179 yards receiving and 2 touchdowns against a solid Monte Vista team.
RB AJ Parker, Alameda HS
Parker has been putting up big time numbers all season, and this week was no different. He erupted for 202 yards on the ground with two touchdowns and make an impact on defense.
Other Top Players…

RB/LB Kyle Goree, Saint Marys HS
