Quarterback: Parker Snyder, San Juan HS Jr.
Snyder as a first year starter help lead the Broncos to become the 2A State Champions. He had an incredible year as he threw for 3,560 passing yards and 46 TDs along 12 rushing TDs. I got to see him live in their season opener against Layton C.A where he dominated in his debut and seeing him again in the semi finals in a shootout against Wade Stilson ( another good QB). His arm strength, accuracy and mobility has earned him a spot on our All State team.
Running Back: Zach Conway, San Juan HS Jr.
Conway had a productive season with 1,399 rushing yards and 20 TDs. His athletic ability as a runner to run between the tackles and bend the corner and accelerate on the outside has been fun to watch. His pass catching ability out the backfield and lined up as a receiver shows his versatility as a playmaker and a spot on our All State team.
Running Back: Ryder Rodgers, Delta HS Sr.
Rodgers finished the season with 1,233 rushing yards and 6 TDs. His burst, quickness and vision allows him to be effective as an inside runner. Not afraid to get behind his shoulder pads and get physical with tacklers.
Wide Receiver: Creek Sharp, Emery HS Jr.
Sharp led the 2A Class in receiving yards and Touchdowns with 71 receptions for 1,107 yards and 15 TDs. Has good athletic ability as a pass catcher to react and adjust to make the hard catches. Athletic after the catch to avoid tacklers and gain more yards. Help lead his team to the Semi Finals in the 2A State Playoffs.
Wide Receiver: Cameron Smith, Delta HS Sr.
Smith finished the season with 44 receptions for 903 yards and 13 TDs. Has good initial quickness and burst into his routes. Strong hands to catch the ball in flight. Can react and adjust to make the tough catches. Athletic after the catch avoiding tacklers to gain more yards.
Athlete : Caleby Thompson, South Summit HS Sr.
Thompson had a productive year with 961 receiving yards and 12 TDs. He’s an athletic player with good quickness and cutting ability as a route runner. Able to find open areas in zone coverage and get separation while running long and short routes. Has good hands to catch the ball in a crowd and athletic after the catch avoiding tacklers to gain more yards.
