Devin Hester – Cedar Shoals
One of the hottest and most productive receivers in Georgia right now, the Athens native has been an absolute touchdown machine over the last several weeks, scoring 9 touchdowns over the last three games. A quick, explosive receiver who can get behind the defense, Hester has natural speed and shows impressive ball skills as well. He has plenty of burst, but he also knows how to create separation and make a play on the ball. So far this season, Hester has caught 50 passes for 953 yards and 13 touchdowns. He’s averaging over 95 yards a game and has looked unstoppable at the end of his junior year. He’s someone who could get some D1 interest this offseason as he’s one of the top receivers in the entire 4A classification.
Cedric Evans – Spalding
A long, athletic receiver who can make big plays down the field, Evans is one of the top receivers in the Griffin area and one of the more underrated playmakers in the metro-Atlanta area for the 2023 class. At 6-foot-3 180-pounds, he’s a big target with strong, reliable hands who had a giant junior season this past fall. He’s come on strong at the end of the regular season, catching 14 passes for 240 yards and two touchdowns in his last two games of the season. In total, he’s caught 50 passes this year for 690 yards and. 7 total touchdowns. He averaged an impressive 13.8 yards per catch and could see his recruitment take a step forward over the next few months.
Antavious Murphy Antavious Murphy 5'10" | 165 lbs | DB Bainbridge | 2024 State GA – Bainbridge
A big play receiver from South Georgia, Murphy is a two-way standout and one of the top overall athletes in the area. A smooth route-runner with strong hands, Murphy has been a dependable go-to option for the Bainbridge offense all season long, proving he can be a playmaker in the vertical, screen, and short passing game. He was one of the most productive receivers in 4A this fall, catching 53 passes for 883 yards and 13 touchdowns on the season. A quick, shift receiver, Murphy had over 100 receiving yards in four games this season. He also found the end-zone and impressive 13 times this season as a junior. His best game came recently against Cairo where he caught 9 passes for 174 yards and three touchdowns.
