Who are they? Let’s take a look…
Jordan Louie Jordan Louie 5'11" | 205 lbs | RB Meadowcreek | 2023 State GA – Meadowcreek
There was plenty of hype surrounding the new 7A back heading into the season, and the Meadowcreek star more than lived up to the hype this fall as a senior. A longtime West Virginia commitment, Louie recently opened up his recruitment after some bigger schools started to show interest. He’s easily one of the best backs in Georgia and had one of the most productive seasons of any running back not only in Gwinnett County, but across 7A. An explosive back who can make plays out of thee backfield in the passing game, there’s a lot Louie brings to the table and it’s easy to see that he’s a true D1-caliber back. This past season, Louie rushed for 1,558 yards and 15 touchdowns this season, averaging an impressive 10.8 yards per carry. Whoever lands his commitment will be getting one of the best backs in Georgia across the 2023 class.
Peyton Streko Peyton Streko 5'10" | 190 lbs | RB West Forsyth | 2023 State GA – West Forsyth
It wasn’t the year West Forsyth was hoping to have, but it was another big season for running back Peyton Streko Peyton Streko 5'10" | 190 lbs | RB West Forsyth | 2023 State GA . The former Air Force commitment is open in his recruitment and waiting for another impressive D1-caliber program to give him a shot. He was dominant as a junior in 2021 and followed that up with an outstanding senior season where he rushed for 1,140 yards and 12 touchdowns. He’s a tackle-breaking back with plenty of speed, so it’s easy to see why he’s capable of playing at the D1 level. He’s been one of the most productive backs in the area over the last two years and is going to make one program very happy when he makes a final decision on his recruitment.
Jamarion Wilcox Jamarion Wilcox 5'10" | 195 lbs | RB South Paulding | 2023 State GA – South Paulding
One of the most productive backs in Georgia this year, Wilcox was tough to stop for opposing defenses all season long, breaking tackle after tackle along the way. Wilcox is an easy D1 running back and still open in his recruitment, so his decision will be closely watched over thee next several weeks. He’s a tough back who runs hard and is looking to score each time he was the ball. He’s rushed 229 times this season for 2,059 yards and 29 touchdowns this year, averaging 9 yards per carry and 187 yards per game. He’s easily one of the top uncommitted backs in Georgia right now, and depending on where he lands, could see playing time very early at the next level.
Malachi Hosley Malachi Hosley 5'10" | 190 lbs | RB Northside | 2023 State GA – Northside
Another incredibly talented back that still isn’t getting the attention he deserves, Hosley rushed for over 2,000 yards this season and 25 touchdowns. He rushed for over 200 yards in seven different games, an incredibly feat for any back, much less one running against quality defenses on a weekly basis. His best game came against McIntosh where he rushed for 260 yards and 4 touchdowns. He has great burst up the field, follows his blocks, and tough to handle in the open-field. He’s a big-play waiting to happen and will be a steal for one special program who gives him a chance. He has D1-caliber size, a muscular frame, and his productivity speaks for itself. He’s been one of the best in Georgia for a while now and without a doubt one of the best uncommitted backs in Georgia.
