North Shore is ranked #1 in both Houston and Texas while Atascocita is ranked #3 in Houston and #7 in Texas. North Shore and Atascocita have been dominating throughout the whole season no other team would be any competition for them. However, from the start, both teams would have to play at their best to gain the advantage. The game was intense each team barely getting over the other by the 2nd half the score was 3-7 with The Atascocita Eagles leading. This was the 1st time all season that North Shore was behind during halftime. The game continued to heat up during the 2nd half Atascocita started with a big kickoff return which later resulted in a touchdown. North Shore with their backs against the wall was able to apply enough pressure on both offense and defense to score two touchdowns in the 2nd half. This led to a final score of 16-13 with The North Shore Mustangs remaining undefeated. In this article, I’ll be discussing The North Shore Mustangs’ offensive standouts.
#8 David Amador QB, WR Sr 6’0 180 lbs
David Amador has been the starting quarterback ever since week 6 since quarterback #1 Kaleb Bailey Kaleb Bailey 6'2" | 195 lbs | QB North Shore | 2025 State TX went out with a knee injury. David has been getting accustomed to the quarterback position especially since he was originally a wide receiver. David has a good throwing arm all the passes I saw him throw were accurate and on target. However, his main strength is his mobility and speed which he obtained from playing as a wide receiver. As quarterback David would run with the ball more than he would Pass it if David saw an open route he would zoom down and collect a lot of yards. David will keep progressing throughout the playoffs and could lead North Shore to the state championship. David ended the game by running in one touchdown himself and one touchdown pass.
#34 Rashaad Johnson Rashaad Johnson 5'9" | 210 lbs | RB North Shore | 2023 State TX RB Sr 5’9 215 lbs
If North Shore wanted to get any momentum on offense they gave the ball to running back Rashaad Johnson Rashaad Johnson 5'9" | 210 lbs | RB North Shore | 2023 State TX . Rashaad is extremely fast and powerful breaking tackle after tackle and fighting for every single yard. Rashaad is the key figure to North Shore’s offense especially since Kaleb Bailey Kaleb Bailey 6'2" | 195 lbs | QB North Shore | 2025 State TX went down picking up the extra slack by getting a ton of yards each game.
28 D’andre Hardeman Jr RB So
D’andre Hardeman knows how to tote the rock. D’andre is a great running back he had the 1st big run of the game early on in the 1st quarter. D’andre’s big run set North Shore up for a field goal which later mattered at the end of the game because North Shore won by 3 points.
#4 Terrence Guillory WR, CB Jr 5’8 155 lbs
Terrence Guillory is a fast and reliable wide receiver. Even though North Shore is a running heavy team Terrance was still able to stand out. Terrance is quick with great footwork maneuvering around his defender to get open for passes. Terrance wrapped up the night with one touchdown.
