There are a lot of young talented prospects and several sleeper prospects that could start getting looks for the next level. Prep Redzone Florida will always promote everybody in hopes of them getting the opportunity of playing college football at the next level.
Willie Pollard, ATH- Bradford High c/o 24
5’9 155lbs
Howard has been a big time weapon for Bradford High and has been instrumental in helping Bradford reach the state semis where they’ll take on Cocoa High this Friday. His MaxPrep stats only show five games for the team, where he rushed for 440 yards, averaging over 5 yards per carry with two 100 yard rushing games. He also has one catch for 51 yards. Pollard is a natural runner with instincts and the ability to dart in and out of traffic. Despite his size he will lower his shoulder and run through tackles.
Johnny Mathis, ATH- Seffner Christian Academy c/o 24
6’1 180lbs
Mathis isn’t under the radar player out of Seffner Christian. He was solid this season contributing in many different ways, but I predict next year he’ll really take off. He’s a versatile two-way player that shows the ability to get in and out of his breaks running routes and posseses soft hands. On the season he finished the 13 catches for 150 yards. He also registered 9 tackles and a forced fumble on defense. Mathis is also really good student that has a 3.6 GPA.
Jesse Fields, WR- Monarch High c/o 23
5’10 170lbs
Fields was a big time playmaker for Monarch High this season that helped the Knights reach the regional semifinals in the playoffs. On the season he registered 68 catches for 1,054 yards, averaging over 15 yards per catch with 8 receiving touchdowns. He’s a very good special teams player too that averaged 32 yards per kickoff and 17 yards per punt return. Fields is very quick getting out of the stance, lines up all over the field and shows the ability to get deep easily, playmaker that is a quick decision maker who gets downhill without hesitation. Picked up and offer from Tusculum University on November 27th.
Antonio Bell, WR- Lakewood High c/o 23
6’1 170lbs
Bell is an underrated player out of Lakewood High in St Petersburg, Florida. He shared the spotlight with a lot of really good college prospects, but is a player that has the ability to play at the next level. On the season he finished with 10 catches for 189 yards and a touchdown. Bell possesses really good speed and eats up ground quickly on defensive backs, big-time deep threat that can take the top off a defense, also does a good job tracking the ball in the air. Coaches need to head over to St Pete, Florida and check him out.
