There are a lot of young talented prospects and several sleeper prospects that could start getting looks for the next level. Prep Redzone Florida will always promote everybody in hopes of them getting the opportunity of playing college football at the next level.
Chris Lee, DB- Clearwater Central Catholic c/o 24
6’0 205lbs
Lee has been a big part of an outstanding defense that’s only given up 141 points through 10 games this season. On the year Lee has registered 51 tackles, 24 tackles for loss, and a sack. A highly athletic player that’s very good out in space, does a good job sticking his foot in the ground and driving on the football, shows excellent acceleration and closing burst to the football. His stock is on the rise, and he picked up his first D1 offer from FAU this month.
Grayson Gilmore, DE- Sunlake High c/o 25
6’3 205lbs
What’s been a tough season for the Sunlake Seahawk in 2022, Gilmore was been a bright spot on the defensive side of the ball. This season he registered 52 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, and a team leading 5 sacks. Gilmore does a good job using his hands to shed blocks, has good length that helps him control the distance against blockers. Versatile, can play standing up or with his hand in the dirt. Prospect to keep an eye on the next few seasons. Gets it done in the classroom as well with a 3.5 GPA.
Ryan Johnson, LB- Carrollwood Day c/o 24
6’1 210lbs
Johnson is a linebacker to keep an eye on throughout the playoffs for a good Carrollwood Day defense. He’s currently ranked third on the team with 44 tackles, eight tackles for loss, three sacks, and 3 PD. Johnson has everything you’re looking for in today’s linebacker, can play out in space and has sideline to sign line range and speed. Shows instincts and solid tackling ability.
Quantavious Callaway, RB/DB- Lake Region High c/o 24
5’9 175lbs
Callaway is a Junior Prospect that was solid this season for the Lake Region Thunder. I look for him to have an even bigger impact next season. This season he led the team in rushing with 479 yards, 6 yards per carry and 9 rushing touchdowns. He also had 4 receptions for 57 yards and a touchdown through the air. He’s a versatile player that also plays defensive back. Does a good job running between the tackles, presses the hole with urgency and shows the vision to be able to get to the second level, possesses the receiving ability to be used in passing situations, shows good speed and contact balance.
