Highlights
Rogers continues to prove why he’s one of the best players in the nation. With track star speed Rogers fully lived up to his nickname “Turbo” in his performance against Spanish Fort. With seemingly instantaneous speed, Rogers has one of the best 0-60’s in the country. All it takes is half a second once he sees his crease, and Rogers can have players look like their moving in slow motion. As an electric playmaker, he squeezes the most out of every carry and finds the hidden yards most players wouldn’t gain. Though he’s a speedster, Rogers’ low center of gravity and lean frame enables him to finish runs with physicality when needed. In addition, his contact balance and lower leg strength allow him to grind out yards between tackle- making him a complete back who could carry his team to a title.
Williams is another can’t miss prospect in the 6A region that can dominate a game and is the future of high school football within the state. With 140 yards and two touchdowns on seven catches, Williams also added a 23-yard rushing touchdown to cap off an impressive playoff opener. Williams’s game-changing speed enables him to be a scoring threat from any position on the field, outrun angles in the open field, and turn 5-yard screens to 60-yard scores. When defenders are close, Williams shows exceptional quick-twitch and short-distance burst and can make guys miss in close quarters- making him an even more challenging target to tackle. Whenever Saraland needs a big play, they call No.1, and wisely so. Expect Williams to continue his dominance and be among the biggest factors in the 7A championship run.

Curry is a bonafide No.1 option and next-level prospect, and he proved that in his impressive showing against Cullman. His diverse skill set made him productive from the outside or slot. Though he possesses a slim frame, Curry’s strides are smooth, and his movements are fluid. This allows him to create space at the top of the route, make guys miss in the open field in run-after catch/ screen situations, or take the lid off the defense and create chunk plays. However, Curry also possesses excellent ball skills and can adjust to any throw that’s within his radius. As one of the best receivers left in the state. Expect Curry to continue to have a significant impact on his team and force defenses to account for him on every down.
Azariah Fletcher
Azariah Fletcher
Fletcher continues to prove he’s one of the best all-purpose players in the country. With a punt return touchdown, kickoff return touchdown, and a rushing touchdown, he generated over 200 all-purpose yards and was the focal point of the Hartselle victory over Buckhorn. With elite vision and speed, Fletcher is going to expose any opening available and possibly hit his head on the goalpost on any given play. His ability to let blocks develop, anticipate gaps, and expose cut-back lanes on returns or rushes makes Fletcher lighting in a bottle and of the best playmakers in the state. Look for Fletcher to continue to be an elite X-factor and make plays from every position.
Ja’Khael Rowser
Ja’Khael Rowser
Rowser is a highly explosive playmaker with a broad skill set. As a running back/ receiver hybrid, he provided positional fluidity and matchup nightmares all night against Benjamin Russell High. On handoffs, he possesses extreme short-distance burst and lateral quickness- making him liable to make the first man miss and make guys miss. However, when he does escape from crowded situations, Rowser has excellent acceleration and can generate yards quickly in the open field. As a receiver, he has solid hands and can dominate as a run-after-catch guy who makes his QB’s job easier.
