In this article, we’ll take a dive into some talented, uncommitted seniors at Stony Point High School. Included is a talented, high upside tight end with limitless potential and a handful of other prospects sure to make an impact at the next level.
TE Gerard Edimo – 6’5″ 210 / @Gerard_Edimo
Edimo is the type of high upside tight end prospect a smaller program should give an opportunity to. He’s a solid 210, with the frame to easily work his way up to 235. He’s a capable run blocker who will only get better over the course of his freshman season, but he is a natural athlete who can flex out and stretch a defense vertically. Reliable target who’s going to keep the chains moving. Will continue to get better, especially once he gets started with a collegiate S&C program. No-brainer offer.

OT Zack Hall – 6’5″ 240 / @ZackHall72
Hall is an undersized tackle prospect who should be getting a lot of recruiting attention in the next two months. He’s a natural athlete who moves gracefully and can work his way to the second level with ease. As a pass protector, he starts off with a nice kick slide and does a good job with his initial punch. The footwork is clean and he’s able to consistently protect his quarterback’s blind side. Has the frame to add weight and top out between 260-270.
Currently has a Division 2 offer from Southwest Baptist.
DE Jayden Birdow – 6’2″ 210 / @BirdowJayden
Senior Stats: 96 tackles, 7 TFL, 4 sacks
Birdow was a regular in opponents’ backfields as a senior. He’s tough, scrappy, and has a motor that never shuts off. Against the run is where he really shines, as he’s able to effectively use his hands, shed blocks, and flash nice lateral quickness to get to the ballcarrier. As a pass rusher, is relentless off the line and seems to always be in position to affect the quarterback. Will be a fantastic addition to a program’s defensive line room.

RB Kory Thomas – 5’11” 195 / @KoryThomas9
The first team All-District selection a year ago had quite the season for the Tigers while sharing the backfield with TCU commit Cameron Cook Cameron Cook 5'10" | 180 lbs | RB Stony Point | 2023 State TX . Thomas keeps his pads low and always makes the first defender miss at the line of scrimmage. From there, his natural instincts as a runner kick in. He combines excellent vision with uncanny cut-back ability to get the most out of every carry. Where he is most dangerous, however, is as a pass catcher. Silky smooth once the ball is in his hands, and slips tackles effortlessly. #4 got the headlines in 2022, but any program out there that wants a top-notch change of pace guy in the backfield for the next four years should definitely take a look at Kory Thomas.
