Skyler Silver
This young man looks and plays bigger than his measurables suggest, that might be because of the weekly competition he faces, nonetheless, the senior tape shows a mauling right tackle, one that more coaches should be speaking about. Silver’s punch is top-tier, as is his leg drive. I think he has a ways to go as far as flexibility is concerned, but the senior is a brute off the ball. Punishing player who will set the tone of the ball game if run plays are called to his side early. He can reach the second level well, plenty of reps show this in his 10-minute tape. He meets the height/weight credentials, I could see a D2/PSAC school scooping him up and making him their plan at right tackle. I wonder if he has any experience at OG or IDL. Currently holds one offer out of Wheeling University.
A real hidden gem just outside the Philadelphia Area. The number of boxes Avery Billops Avery Billops 6’2″ | 170 lbs | DB Chichester | 2023 State PA checks off is surprising considering how slow his recruitment has been. Here’s a DB that stands at 6’2, 170 pounds, a build that CCs drool over. How about his position versatility and alignment versatility? His midseason tape shows he can play play-side safety in two-high defensive sets. His tape shows he can play outside lane corner, with a ton of different pass coverage sets on display. Off/Press, Man/Zone, he’s capable and still learning. He’s certainly physical enough to steer wideouts off their route. His physical nature comes up in run support too, particularly from his safety spot. There’s a lot to like about Billops, I could see a program coveting his skillset, would love for him to focus on one aspect and build on it.
Highlights
Kimir Stephenson
Kimir Stephenson
Another interesting prospect here, he might be the offensive counterpart to Avery Billops Avery Billops 6’2″ | 170 lbs | DB Chichester | 2023 State PA . Offensively, Kimir Stephenson is going to hurt a defense in the short/intermediate area of the field. Hitches, screens, and slants are where he wins. Taking one look at how he returns kicks, I’m sure he’d be capable of a wider route tree if given the opportunity. Nonetheless, Ridley utilizes his sure hands and size to act as the chain-mover of this offense. This kid can finish runs, he’s got a little temperament to him. Toughness shows on both sides of the field. The senior might actually project to DB, he’s got a great understanding of the position. He positions his body well pre/post snap to take away certain routes, his physicality shows in both pass coverage and against the run. He can shed blocks aggressively. Fun player to watch. His most recent tape had him solely at DB. No offers from what I can tell.
Nyzir Lake
Nyzir Lake
6’3, 250, on a winning team, no offers to speak of yet from what I can tell. I hope coaches can bear with the kid’s tape, you’re going to have to piece it together but it could be worth it. You’ve got a chiseled, lean 250-pound defensive lineman that has all the tools to dominate average IOL at the next level. Athletic and aggressive, Nyzir Lake is a kid that is going to win over a program in a camp setting if his tape doesn’t do the trick. Left tackle reps are shown, commanding and steering his matchup either out of the play or into the ground. Translates to the defensive side of the ball at the next level where he can utilize his athletic blend of speed and strength. More light needs to be shed.
A shame we don’t have the left guard of the prestigious St. Joseph’s Prep in our ranks. His senior tape is legitimately elite in many aspects. Not too many guards on our ranks can key on their assignments quicker and as efficiently as George Reinhard George Reinhard 6’4″ | 280 lbs | OL St. Joseph’s Prep | 2023 State PA can. Impressive overall tech that seems to have him in the right place at the right time more times than not. One of the more trustworthy guards that I’ve come across. You can’t knock this young man’s track record either. Reinhard and the rest of this offensive line have gone toe to toe with some elite front-seven prospects over the entirety of their Fall season. Reinhard has held his own week in and week out. He deserves some respect.
Will Stone
Will Stone
Here’s a senior who can align at running back and slot corner, whose play recognition skills allow him to cover the Curl/Flat zones in pass coverage, while also reading outside zone runs well, serving as the edge defender. William Stone is tough enough to play in the box, yet has the athletic ability along with the awareness to test pass-catchers in the passing game. He plays with a controlled aggression that allows him to switch between styles seamlessly, providing a nice blend of run-pass defense. Can’t forget about this kid’s occasional reps at running back, he has a score or two on tape.
