Even though Aledo won the contest both sides featured impressive prospects. The student athletes listed below stepped up and were difference makers that caught my eye and raised their personal recruiting stock.

– Aledo – Class of 2024
Davhon is a 6’0 205 pound playmaker who left his mark on the game Friday and was a huge key to this team’s success. He was a man on a mission and made his presence felt in a multitude of ways. His ability to diagnose the play and get sideline to sideline in a hurry was very impressive and helped his squad bring home the win. The stand out defender holds offers from virtually every high major of programs in the country including the likes of TCU, LSU, Penn state, Oklahoma, Baylor and Texas A & M.

– Midlothian High – Class of 2023
Cole had good night of production and did a great job of opening some big holes and springing some big runs. His technique was solid and there were multiple plays where he was able to get good movement and gap removal. In the first half he had some key blocks that helped spring two early touchdowns to tie everything up in the first half 14-14. Even though his team came up short he continued to play hard as the game progressed and was impressive with his he moved guys off of the line of scrimmage and he helped create some good running lanes for his running back.

Devron Djay Williams – Aledo – Class of 2024
Devron is a very large and powerful interior offensive line prospect that was very impressive with his technique, and put his great strength at the point of attack on full display. The 6’5 305 pounder is a fluid athlete and displayed great feet, good patience in pass pro and did a great job straining to finish his blocking assignments. He holds an offer from UTSA and has been on a bevy of visits and I predict his offer count to increase once they finish their playoff run.
Kelvin Newton – Midlothian- Class of 2023
Kelvin is a interior offensive line prospect that did a great job stepping up and holding down the middle at center. His snaps were on point, and he displayed good feet. He effectively showed his strength base blocking at the point of attack and he did a great job pulling for and covering up linebackers in space. He is a bit of a undersized prospect but made up for it with his tenacity and ability to rerun his feet after contact.
