Proceeds from the game go to benefit the Metro School located in downtown Charlotte, which educates children with a myriad of disability conditions.
Let’s take a look at the East Team Wide Receivers:
Jaylen Springs – Independence – Head Coach DJ McFadden stated to me after Week 1 that if the Patriots were going to take a big step this season, they needed Springs to become a dominant receiver. After Independence made the 3rd round of the state playoffs, Jaylen certainly did that. At 6’2 and 200 pounds, I expect Jaylen to finish off his strong senior season with a nice performance in the Queen City Senior Bowl.
Kendall Harris – Cox Mill – Harris committed to Mercer University and has elected not to play in the game, however, he has been known as a dominant threat in the Metro Area the last couple of years. Harris had a very good senior campaign in leading his Cox Mill Chargers to a playoff victory and a 9-3 overall record this past season.
Adriel Miller – Central Cabarrus – Miller had a very special season in being one of the most electrifying players in Cabarrus County. A crazy stat line of 85 catches for 1174 yards and 14 Touchdowns will definitely get you some well-deserved recognition. As if that wasn’t enough, he also added 7 interceptions while playing defensive back!
Kobe Watts-Williams – Concord – While playing in a run-first offense, Watts-Williams stood out because he made the most of the opportunities he got, and at 6’2 – if he played in a passing offense, you could see him really do some special things with the ball in his hands. I expect for Kobe to really open some eyes during this game.

– Weddington – Patterson wears #2, and every time I’ve seen Weddington in person or on film, I just continue to see him make play after play. He can excel in the quick screen game or exploiting matchups out of the slot – I think that’s where his future may be on the next level.

– Monroe – In watching Bryce, he has some great size at 6’2 and 190 pounds, and to me, he projects as that big-body receiver that can be on the outside winning those jump balls and comeback routes vs. man coverage in 1 on 1 situations. He has the speed to run away from you as well.
Antwoine Norris – Rocky River – Norris projects as that quick and shifty slot receiver type of player on the next level – he has some highlights that are just incredible showing the type of athletic ability he has. He has excellent speed in the open field, and an incredible heart that says he will do everything and anything he can to help his team win.
