Some are looking for their first offers and some are just trying to get on a team’s radar. Game day visits are something I love to cover. Let’s check it out.
Kahnen Daniels Kahnen Daniels 6'1" | 185 lbs | RB West Point | 2024 State MS , RB, West Point
Daniels is a guy that we have been heavy on since last year. This a prospect who needs to be recognized nationwide. He has a crazy combination of speed to go along with strength. Yesterday he received an offer from Southern Miss and about a week ago he received an offer to play at Mississippi State. He is clearly one of the best running backs in the 2024 class. He is steadily on a mission to help lead his team to their seventh state title appearance. His stock is going to continue to go up as the playoffs roll out. He is a force on the field. Don’t many opponents enjoy tackling him.
Landon Duckworth, QB, Jackson Academy (Ala)
Duckworth received his first division one offer from the University of Arkansas yesterday. He was also in town to watch the Hogs defeat Ole Miss. Duckworth is one heck of a player who is just a freshman. He is going to see his stock rise so much over these next four years. He is a work horse that loves to get better. His mechanics are only getting better too. He will probably be rated as one of the top 100 players in the nation next fall.
Quentin Murphy Quentin Murphy 6'1" | 190 lbs | QB Little Rock Parkview | 2025 State AR , QB, Joe T Robinson (AR)
Murphy recently received an offer to play at Mississippi State. Yesterday he was in Starkville attending a game. This stud out of Arkansas is just a sophomore and has around ten offers. He is a very special talent that has nice size and speed. He is going to be one of the best dual threat quarterbacks in his class. When I went to watch him play multiple people were bragging about how high his upside is. Murphy told me that he really enjoyed his visit to Starkville. It seems like Mississippi State is a team he is liking. Murphy still has a few more games to play this season if they continue to win. His team is trying to be defending back to back champs. They have the guys to get it done. Murphy also gives them a great chance to make it happen.
Anson Lewis, Jr, WR, Columbia
Lewis went on his first game day visit to Southern Miss yesterday. He also will be in Oxford for the Egg Bowl this upcoming Thanksgiving. This kid has been lighting it up this season. He is a 6-foot-2, 200 pound 2025 WR who is starting to wake up a lot of coaches. He has a lot of speed, but his size is very intriguing. He has a very nice body frame that looks like it can hold a few more pounds. He has great hands and knows how to adjust his body to make hard catches. You can expect to hear his name a lot more during this off-season. A good offseason of hitting camps will have a lot of schools ready to offer.
