This may be a high-scoring affair with teams fighting for an extra possession or a low-scoring game with both teams trying to gain the best field position.
These two teams both have formidable running games with very talented individuals. The Raleigh Lions have two running backs with over 1,100 yards for the season Javarious Walker (RB) being one of them and the other being no other than the number 1 recruit in the state and Ole Miss commit Suntarine Perkins Suntarine Perkins 6'1" | 190 lbs | ATH Raleigh | 2023 State MS (RB). Perkins and Walker are excellent running backs who are great fits for their Wing-T-type offense. For the Saint Stanislaus Rock-a-chaws running back, Chandler Chapman Chandler Chapman 6'0" | 190 lbs | RB St. Stanislaus | 2023 State MS (RB) has been red hot this season averaging over 160 yards per carry on the ground and running over and through defenses. Furthermore, the passing game led by Hudson Osborne (QB) is what may give the Rocks the edge they need in order to stay in this game.
The defenses in this contest will be what makes the difference between getting to play next weekend and packing home to end the season. The Lion’s defense will be led by Jordan “Skeet” Coleman(MLB) Middle Linebacker for the lions who leads the team in tackles and is seen all over the field making big-time hits. For the Rock-A-Chaws Jacob Bradford Jacob Bradford 6'3" | 245 lbs | DL Saint Stanislaus | 2024 State MS (DT) is the main playmaker to be worried about. Jacob has excellent BGO and consistently makes plays at or behind the line of scrimmage rendering opposing offenses behind the chains. Jordan and Jacob will need to lead their defenses in an attempt to stifle the explosive offense on the other side of the ball.
Prediction
This game will be on the shoulders of the defense. Whichever defense can hold the strongest will lead their team to victory.
