#54 Andrew Dennis Andrew Dennis 6'5" | 285 lbs | OL Mount Pleasant | 2024 State MI | OL | Mount Pleasant | Hudl
Dennis and Mount Pleasant will take on DeWitt tomorrow for the District title. Andrew Dennis Andrew Dennis 6'5" | 285 lbs | OL Mount Pleasant | 2024 State MI ‘ run blocking will be critical in this football game. He is a guy who has incredible play strength and can drive defenders out of the play. Dennis does a great job of blocking in open space and can deliver clutch blocks on screen passes. Dennis has the versatility to play tackle and guard. He has quick feet and can drop into his pass sets in a timely manner. You have to believe that the man who frequently lines up across from his tomorrow is going to have a long night.
#22 Brady Prieskorn Brady Prieskorn 6'6" | 230 lbs | TE Rochester Adams | 2024 State MI | WR/TE | Rochester Adams | Hudl
Prieskorn is a physical presence at 6-6, 220 lbs. He does a great job of accelerating off the line of scrimmage and then combining his speed to create separation. He is great at coming down with contested catches. He even has the ability to come down with contested catches over multiple defenders. Prieskorn and Rochester Adams will take on Rochester tomorrow. You have to believe that the Rochester defense will be focused on where Prieskorn in lining up.
#34 Gabe Winowich | RB | Detroit Country Day | Hudl
Winowich and Detroit Country Day will face Pontiac Notre Dame for the District title. Winowich is a great running back who has a nice mix of speed and power to his game. He hits the hole hard and does a great job of making defenders miss in the second level of the defense. Winowich has a strong build and has a powerful lower body. He is a great running back to have especially when the weather turns colder and you need a powerful running back who can carry the ball 20-plus times in a game. I expect Detroit Country Day to give the ball to Winowhich a ton vs Pontiac Notre Dame and a potentially break free for a couple of big play touches.
#3 Mac VandenHout Mac VandenHout 5'11" | 190 lbs | QB Rockford | 2023 State MI | QB/WR | Rockford | Hudl
VandenHout’s team plays Caldonia tomorrow night. This has the makings to be a fantastic football game. VandenHout has been a playmaker throughout his career at Rockford. He always seems to get open and make big time plays at the receiver position. He does a great job of beating defensive backs deep down the field. He does a great job of setting up safeties by faking one way and then accelerating deep another way to get wide open. VandenHout shows good body control and can drag his feet in the back of the endzone. I like how effortlessly he can change direction and it helps him to make defenders miss with ease. It will be interesting to see the numeber of different ways Rockford uses VandenHout tomorrow. You have to believe a big game out of VandenHout will likely mean a win for Rockford.
