Below are the top 10 leaders in passing yards (11-man) along with additional rushing yardage gained. There were some massive numbers put up by QBs all across the state. Check out the QBs and their tapes featuring some of their best throws.
1. Daniel Kaelin Daniel Kaelin 6'3" | 195 lbs | QB Bellevue West | 2024 State NE | 2024 | Bellevue West | 6’3″ 195 lbs
Stats: 236/371, 64% completion, 3,186 passing yards, 36 touchdowns, 7 interceptions, 115.4 QBR. 38 carries, 175 rushing yards, and 3 rushing touchdowns.
– Daniel took full advantage of the weapons at his disposal and went OFF!
– Efficient passer that makes quick reads and gets the ball out quickly.
– Power 5 QB target with another year to continue to wow recruiters.
2. Zane Flores Zane Flores 6'3" | 190 lbs | QB Gretna | 2023 State NE | 2023 | Gretna | Oklahoma State Commit
Stats: 235/359, 66% completion, 3,117 passing yards, 31 touchdowns, 7 interceptions, 113.5 QBR. 79 carries, 262 rushing yards, and 10 rushing touchdowns.
– Incredible career by one of the best QBs in state history.
– Oklahoma State is getting a well-polished QB with big-game experience and a limitless ceiling.
– All-time Class A passing yards leader.
3. Garret Hoefs Garret Hoefs 6'2" | 200 lbs | ATH Lincoln Lutheran | 2023 State NE | 2023 | Lincoln Lutheran | 6’2″ 200 lbs
Stats: 198/308, 64% completion, 2,762 passing yards, 31 touchdowns, 13 interceptions, 109 QBR. 194 carries, 802 rushing yards, and 14 rushing touchdowns.
– The Hoefs to TE Jonny Puelz Jonny Puelz 6'4" | 195 lbs | TE Lincoln Lutheran | 2023 State NE connection was money every time they found each other.
– Garret is a very underrated athlete overall. He has a big arm, can run the ball, is a hard-hitting safety/LB, and can ball on the basketball court.
– Uncommitted player that could help a college program in many different ways.

– Stepped into the starting role nicely and even set the school record for all-purpose yards in a season.
– Solid overall athlete that can also be a threat with his legs. Can improvise in the backfield to buy time or tuck it and run.
5. Jax Biehl Jax Biehl 6'1" | 145 lbs | QB Fairbury | 2023 State NE | 2023 | Fairbury | 6’1″ 145 lbs
Stats: 142/302, 47% completion, 2,585 passing yards, 32 touchdowns, 20 interceptions, 84.7 QBR.
– Jax led an explosive Fairbury passing offense that

– I called it this summer when I said the boys at Omaha South were cooking something up.
– Daeshawn had an all-time season in school history by setting several school records.
– Tolbert has a rocket arm that can launch the ball for a mile.
– With a little more coaching and polish at the next level, Daeshawn would be a steal!
8. Anthony Rezac Anthony Rezac 6'3" | 200 lbs | QB Omaha Westside | 2024 State NE | 2024 | Omaha Westside | 6’3″ 190 lbs
Stats: 168/250, 67% completion, 2,239 passing yards, 19 touchdowns, 4 interceptions, 114.1 QBR. 160 carries, 1,160 rushing yards, and 19 rushing touchdowns.
– Anthony emerged as a true dual-threat QB with 2,000+ passing yards and 1,000+ rushing yards and 38 total touchdowns.
– Absolute gamer with a winner’s mentality. Refuses to quit and can will his team to victory.
– Should emerge as a Power 5 prospect this offseason.

– Won back-to-back state championships. Went 26-0 as a starter. Incredible!
– Super smart passer that can take care of the football. 55 touchdowns to 6 interceptions in his career.
– Athleticism to pick up yards with his legs.
– Proven winner that has yet to announce his new home.
10. Treyven Beckman Treyven Beckman 6'1" | 195 lbs | QB Kearney | 2023 State NE | 2023 | Kearney | 6’0″ 185 lbs
Stats: 127/194, 66% completion, 2,105 passing yards, 25 touchdowns, 5 interceptions, 130.5 QBR. 66 carries, 104 rushing yards, and a rushing touchdown.
– Treyven and the Bearcats snuck up on Class A and surprised many people.
– Treyven looked comfortable in the pocket and made great reads while also taking care of the ball.
– Still raw in some areas but with some time, Beckman should be a productive QB at the next level.
