Ituka has been Gaithersburg’s guy all year. They will play Churchill who has an explosive offense of their own. Gaithersburg will look to control the ball and keep the ball on the ground. Ituka is a great power back that has great success running the ball in between the tackles. He is so tough to bring down in open space so look for him to get the ball going to the outside. If he can make some momentum changing big runs Gaithersburg could pull off an upset.

Ezekiel Avit started off the season on fire. However it has been his brother David who has stole the show in the home stretch. David is a back that can do it all. He runs hard downhill and isn’t afraid of contact. He has enough moves and elusiveness in the open field to make people miss. He has great vision and always hits the right hole. He is equally as impressive on the defensive side of the ball. He will likely follow Ituka and look to minimize his impact.
La’Kyi Wilson
La’Kyi Wilson
Wilson is a player who is quietly putting together a very productive season. On offense he is a receiver who can line up both in the slot and on the outside. He makes good hard cuts at the top of his routes to get himself open. He also has the ability to run by defenders and beat them deep on streaks. On defense he is a great cover corner. He has great feet and has great technique. He is able to flip his hips on a dime. He also does a great job of reading quarterback’s eyes.
Dunathan has put together another great season. Linganore is coming to town. This should be a very fun game between two storied programs. Dunathan has been integral to Damascus’ success all season. He is their lead back. He is big and runs behind his size well. He likes to run defenders over. He also has a very powerful stiff arm. He also has very good speed and is able to finish off runs. On defense he is a heat seeking missile. He has sideline to sideline range. He is a very good tackler and stops ball carriers in their tracks.

Nicholas Pioli
Pioli is a player that has put together some impressive tape. He is an edge defender that also has the skillset to play on the interior. He is a power rusher that loves to bull rush. He does a good job of keeping his outside arm free to help him play contain. He does a good job of continuing to penetrate the offense even while he is engaged in a block. He has a high motor and gets a good number of clean up sacks.
Awode has developed into a 2-way player this season. He has always been a very good run stopping interior lineman. He is still a great interior lineman that is able to shed blocks and make run stops at the line of scrimmage. He does a good job of plugging his gap. However he has now developed into a good offensive lineman as well. He takes his nasty mentality to the offensive side of the ball. He likes to drive defenders off the ball. He does a great job of finishing off his blocks.
Justin Huebl
Justin Huebl
Huebl has led a prolific Churchill offense this season. He is a traditional drop back pocket passer. He has great timing and anticipation as he always knows where his receiver is going to be. He has great touch on throws downfield. His ball placement is impressive as he is able to put the ball where only his receiver can get it. He is not afraid to push the ball deep downfield with his arm. He trusts his receivers and allows them to make plays.
Khalil Penn

Penn is a safety that does his best work in run support. He is a safety that has the ability to play in the box. He is also a good blitzer. He is very physical. He is not afraid to take on blocks and shed them. He also delivers hard hits. His large frame makes him very tough to beat in the pass game. He has great range and covers lots of ground.
Aidan Brant
Aidan Brant
He is a swiss army knife for Damascus. He is a true utility player. On defense he is a traditional off ball backer. He has great pursuit and never gives up on the play. On offense he can be used in a multitude of ways. He can be used as an H-back, tight end, or even as a back in the backfield. He is a good run and lead blocker. He also runs with enough power to be an effective ball carrier.
Taylor has dealt with some injuries but Poolesville will need him at full health if they want to beat a very good Walkersville team. Taylor is a back that can win a game by his own. He is one of the top backs in the county. He runs hard and with power. He breaks weaker arm tackles. He is a good one cut back that always seems to hit the right hole. He has a knack for breaking past the line of scrimmage and picking up chunk yardage. He has also been very productive at defense. He is a defensive playmaker that can cause game changing turnovers.
