With that in mind, our objective has not been focused on the athletes who have been hyped or have several college offers, but those who have been productive.
While measurables sell the athletes to colleges who buy into the promotion that fan websites heap on these athletes, the way they produce on the field is the final answer to how valuable they will be at the next level.
Today we check out some of the linebackers – many who are not on the college radar – but prospects who made an impact on their teams this season.
Whether playoff bound or not, the very fact that these young men stepped up is what counts.
Here are some linebackers that you may have missed in 2022:
Starting with the senior class (2023) there were Logan Barnhill (6-1, 175, Melbourne), Isaiah Beaubrun (5-10, 210, Fort Pierce Central), Elijah Brown (6-0, 200, Miami Dr. Krop),
Jayson Harris (6-0, 215, Cottondale), Mario Hawthorne (6-3, 210, Crestview), Reshard Mack (5-9, 205, Tallahassee Rickards), Sean Major (5-10, 210, Lake Wales), Lashun Mays Jr. (6-0, 210, Jacksonville Terry Parker), Dwann McCray (6-2, 185, Crystal River) and Drew Spinogatti (6-1, 215, Orlando Bishop Moore).

As solid as the 2023 class, those prospects who will be around for the next few years were also impressive – like Class of 2024 juniors Cameron Anderson Cameron Anderson 6'0" | 165 lbs | DB Miami Northwestern | 2025 FL (5-11, 192, Jacksonville Trinity Christian), Terry Arnold (6-0, 210, Tallahassee North Florida Christian), Jeffery Brown (5-8, 165, Jacksonville Terry Parker), Chase Harllee (6-1, 205, Tallahassee Chiles), Rodney Hill Rodney Hill 5'10" | 205 lbs | LB Daytona Beach Mainland | 2024 State FL (5-11, 210, Flagler Palm Coast), Jayden Parrish (6-2, 210, Delray Beach Atlantic) and Lake Wales’ playmaker Johnquae Richardson (5-11, 210).
There were also Class of 2025 sophomores Seth Chestnut Seth Chestnut 6'1" | 205 lbs | LB Glen St. Mary Baker County | 2025 FL (5-11, 190, Glen St. Mary Baker County), Bryson Floyd (6-0, 165, Tallahassee Chiles) and Ty Jackson (6-1, 195, Loxahatchee Seminole Ridge).
