It’s still early in their careers, but these young men have already begun to stand out and make a name for themselves. With three more years left, these young men are bound to be on college’s radars, and some will most certainly pick up FBS offers. Remember these names as we head into the 2022 off-season. With that being said, here’s who you need to know!
RB: Antonio Washington, 5’10” 230, Bell
- A bowling ball of a runner that tacklers seemingly bounce off of.
- This is a pure downhill runner with excellent body control.
- His leg drive & genuine will forces multiple tacklers to wrestle him down to the turf.
- Has some shake to his game, despite being a bigger back.
- Always finishes runs falling forward.
LB: Kedric Golston Kedric Golston 6'2" | LB Gonzaga | 2026 MD , 6’2″ 190, Gonzaga
- Loose-hipped and smooth in coverage.
- Can come to balance and tackle in space, using the sideline to his advantage.
- Has a natural feel for route concepts.
- A well-trained block shedder at the second level.
- Fills holes with a low pad level and serious aggression.
ATH: Darrell Carey Darrell Carey 6'3" | 180 lbs | WR Archbishop Carroll | 2026 MD , 6’2″ 175, Archbishop Carroll
- A tone-setter as a perimeter blocker.
- Long-limbed and quite athletic.
- Displayed fantastic closing speed.
- Reads his keys, triggers, and runs the alley with authority.
- Takes quality angles to the tackle, ensuring no cutback can be made.
ATH: Breyon Williams Breyon Williams 5'10" | 200 lbs | ATH St. Johns | 2026 State MD , 5’10” 190, St. John’s
- Extremely slippery in the hole.
- Has the vision to bounce a run outside if everything is stuffed up between the tackles.
- Has an angry running style that makes tacklers pay when he caps off runs.
- Knees are constantly driving through contact.
- A surehanded target out of the backfield that will provide matchup issues on opposing linebackers.
ATH: Chris Palmer, 6′ 165, Bell
- Noticeable speed and burst after the catch.
- Subtle change of direction.
- Solid anticipation and playmaking ability at the safety position.
- A thumper when forced to tackle on the defensive side.
- An immediate impact special teamer that can return punts if need be.
DE: Tariq Boney Tariq Boney 6'2" | 230 lbs | DL St. Johns | 2026 State MD , 6’2″ 235, St. John’s
- Hands shoot up if he can’t get to the quarterback.
- On-field effort and attitude are just outstanding.
- Pad level is consistent throughout.
- Quickness and lateral movement skills work hand in hand.
- Rush tempo makes him a tough man to read when unblocked.
