We will continue to publish this topic each week in hopes of giving the recruits that we spotlight, what they deserve to help alert college coaches attention. Rhode Island maybe a smaller state but it surely does have a High School Football fan base following with hidden football talents around the state. This also includes college coaches taking recent notice and traveling there during the recruiting evaluation process. Here are the Top Performances we were given notice about after Week 7 play.
Nick Baccala Nick Baccala 5’10” | 180 lbs | ATH Ponaganset H.S. RI. | 2023 New E ran for 218 yards on 23 carries and scored four touchdowns and had a fumble recovery TD this weekend. His film shows he has good balance with body control. He has position flexibility with the skill set to play the slot or in empty sets as a wide receiver. He has good quickness with good game speed. Andrew Ciarniello Andrew Ciarniello 5’10” | 175 lbs | ATH North Kingstown H.S. RI. | 2023 New E ran for 110 yards and two touchdowns and added an interception to help lead his team to victory. He has very good game speed that pops. As a ball carrier, he has loose hips allowing him to plant his foot and break away from a defender right or left quickly. Good athletic skill set that shows aggression and desire to be physical on both sides of the ball. HUDL PROFILE
Dylan Walker Dylan Walker 5’8″ | 150 lbs | RB Roger H.S. RI. | 2023 New E carried 12 times for 154 yards and three touchdowns to help lead his team to victory. He is a good outside runner with patience to follow his blockers and find the alley. Has good quickness and game speed. He can frame and pluck the ball naturally when targeted out of the backfield. He is reliable and willing to contribute in the passing game. Shows toughness in his blocking abilities.
Jordan Duke Jordan Duke 6’2″ | 195 lbs | RB Classical | 2025 New E caused havoc whether he was carrying it or chasing down a ball-carrier. He ran for 143 yards and two touchdowns. He is a very large RB who runs downhill on inside runs. He keeps his shoulders square when defenders close in and will finish the run with power into the defender. He can run the off-tackle with ability to cut away from defenders for the extra yards. He also plays LB for his team and seen being physical and aggressive. He is a projected D1 quality athlete that has a high ceiling. Additional college interest will spike after the season.

Clinton (Will) Hopkins Clinton (Will) Hopkins 5’9″ | 160 lbs | K Barrington H.S. RI. | 2023 New E was clutch all night, making three extra points in regulation before hitting a walk-off XP in overtime that gave his team a 28-27 win.
