Gared Clark
Gared Clark
Gared Clark was an exceptional signal caller for the Warriors this past season. Clark was able to lead his team to a winning season this year by being a consistent playmaker in the pocket. What helped propel his team into this position was the 2,400 yards he threw for and the 30 touchdowns to show for it. He has the cannon needed to make throws behind the defense as well as the accuracy to fit the ball within tight throwing lanes. Gared does posses the ability to be a mobile quarterback if he chooses to but he certainly does thrive within the pocket. It would be great to see Gared Clark on the roster for a JUCO or D3/D2 level school where he would thrive. His feats through the air is what earned him the title of one of MAIS 4A Top QBs
Coleman Carter Coleman Carter 6’2″ | 180 lbs | QB Adams County Christian | 2025 State MS is a young Athlete with a high ceiling. This kid is only in his second year of high school but averages nearly 200 yards per game through the air. That is quite impressive for his age and is also just a foreshadowing of what he is capable of. This year Coleman Led his team to the State Semi-Finals where unfortunately they lost by just 7 points. Carter has great escapeability and pocket awareness as he can avoid sacks and make a play on the ground. For just a sophomore Carter threw for 28 TDs and rushed for another 9 TDs. Overall Coleman Carter Coleman Carter 6’2″ | 180 lbs | QB Adams County Christian | 2025 State MS is a playmaker who will only continue to improve. Depending on Carter’s supporting cast it may be safe to say that the Warriors may win it all come fall 2023. I would recommend monitoring Coleman’s progression through his last 2 seasons. Nevertheless, His production this season is what earns him MAIS 4A Top 3 QBs
Highlights
CJ Moore
CJ Moore
CJ Moore certainly deserves to be on this list for a couple of reasons. One clear reason is that Moore led his team incredibly far into the playoffs 2 years in a row but this time his efforts put a ring on his finger by winning the MAIS 4A State Championships. CJ is an incredible competitor at all levels. As a QB CJ has posted some exceptional numbers including a high 66% completion rate, 1,990 yards and 22 passing touchdowns. It is important to also mention that Moore has another 950 yards rushing as well as 10 more touchdowns. Needless to say Moore is electric with the ball in his hands and is nearly impossible to stop. CJ Moore has the skill set to be successful at multiple positions at both the JUCO and Colliegate levels if he gets the opportunity. Moore has been a consistent playmaker for the Fighting Irish which is why he has been selected as one of MAIS 4A Top 3 QBs
