Dunathan is a diamond in the rough and will be a Gem on somebodies recruiting board. He is dominant on the field at linebacker and running back. He has the power and strength to take on and shed blocks and still makes the tackle. He’s a very athletic LB, on one particular play he really showed off his athleticism, awareness, and relentlessness. Dillon read a double pass from his outside linebacker position and chased down the play to make the tackle 50 yards later. He’s only played in 4 2nd halves out of 9 games up until this week. Dunathan was invited to the MD vs VA All-Star game at The St. James in VA on Jan.6th.

Edwards is a player that was on our watch list in the off season, and he went on to have a monster performance in the first half of the season. He is a run stopping machine with great size and strength. He shows you everything you need to see in a run stopper, tackles in the backfield, chasing down the pitch and outside runs, and stuffing the run at the line of scrimmage. Edwards is another hidden gem in this recruiting class.

Daramy is a hardnose, physical football player. During off season 7-on-7 and camp season he demonstrated powerful reroutes, and surprising quickness for his size. He’s an instinctive inside LB who drives defenders back on contact. He was a great addition to this Pallotti defense, adding to the fast athletic outside linebackers already on the roster. He currently has 2 offers and may have a few more on the horizon.

Rice is a sideline-to-sideline backer, chasing down plays, and can play as an extra body in pass coverage, even comes up with some interceptions. My first look at Braylen was at the Offense-Defense 7on7 tournament at George Mason University. He played the pass very well, using his experience from playing safety in 2021. Braylen was nominated for the Maryland Crab Bowl and will be playing on the Washington All-Star team. Currently hold only 2 offers including Westminster college.

Diamonte may be the most athletic LB out of this group. He absolutely flies around and even carries the ball for Douglass. He has the speed to keep up with and cover running backs down field. Blitzing off of the edge he is a weapon, he’s very fast and closes on the QB quick, forcing incompletions.
