2022 Post-Regular Season Prospects

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Although the regular season is ended and some teams did not go far in the Alabama High School Athletic Association playoffs, I have decided to highlight several outstanding players that have been exceptional throughout the 2022 football season. This is a moment to reflect on individuals who are on the rise as well as those who are nearing the end of their football careers in the high school level. He possesses fast feet and the length to keep speed rushers at length around the corner. Jayden excels at playing the aggressive approach with his feet and hands to cut off the edge due to his effortless agility and quickness.  Jayden can respond to inside movements and cut off inside lanes with his rapid reaction skills. There is no denying that Jayden excels at mirroring speed rushers coming off the edge. He is especially powerful on the run block, where he possesses the size in his base to lockdown and stop anyone in his path. Jayden consistently beats opponents to areas as a run blocker. He launches the ball and uses his speed to build up rushing lanes. Jayden's speed and athleticism allow him to get to the second level and hit blocks on second-level opponents. He blocks hard through the whistle, and while he looks to punish defenders with destructive power, he also manages to make lots of pancake blocks, which is very empressive. Overall this kid is going to do great things at the next level. He reminds me of Jabrill peppers former Paramus Catholic High school stand out and Michigan Wolverines super star. rnrnDefense: Edwards has the size, speed, and athleticism to be a three-down starter at the next level. Edwards' specialty is blitzing the quarterback, which he thrives at. When Edwards decides to fire into the backfield, he displays incredible timing, vision, and anticipation. Edwards rushes downhill in a hurry to catch quarterbacks off guard, and he often delivers.rnrnOffense: Edwards' quickness and ability to separate are the first things that stick out about him. Edwards possesses a strong burst off the line with explosive speed that allows him to swiftly separate from cornerbacks. Edwards moves quickly through his routes, making it nearly hard for defensive backs to catch up with him. Edwards is a quality route runner who is quick in and out of his breaks, in addition to his off-game breaking speed. Because Edwards is quick and rapid, he becomes a lethal weapon after the catch. He is swift and sudden, and he can make a large gain on any touch. He has exceptional cutting skills and can juke opponents or weave past them in the open field. Frost possesses a powerful burst that allows him to break into the wide field. He also possesses exceptional vision and cutting abilities. While he isn't the largest back on the field, he is difficult while rushing between the tackles. Frost's quickness and explosiveness set him apart as a runner. He is a home run hitter with the ability to make a substantial gain every time he touches the ball, that will lead him to major sucess in the near future.. Frost is a fantastic receiver who suits the gameplay wonderfully. As a receiving back, he has soft hands and is a great route runner. He has the ability to be one of the best receiving backs in the state of Alabama. Frost, in addition to receiving, is a strong pass protector and a willing blocker who does not back down from any contact in blitz protection. With the position of his passes, he can loft passes with good ball placement, leading his receivers and defeating quality coverage. Hunter's height and stature allow him to stand tall in the pocket and has the patience to let routes develop. Hunter is a talented athlete who can get yards on the run in addition to his arm skill. Hunter is not a true running quarterback in the traditional sense, but he possesses the feet and mobility to avoid pass-rushers and extend plays while still picking up yards on the ground .Mobile quarterbacks can pick up a few first downs every game, and Hunter will offer that talent to his squad or any team that takes a shot on him.
