Continue ReadingGoing into week 9 of the regular season, plenty of kickers throughout the state of GA have had high levels of success. So far, there have been multiple kickers to reach the 40+ mark, and we expect even more to get to this point within the next week. In this success lies a few kickers who have stood above the rest, and below, we have taken some time to recognize them, and the fact that they currently sit on our list as some of the top 5 kick scoring leaders in the state of Georgia this season.
Landon Vickers- Cairo
Wildly enough, after 8 games, Vickers has played at such a high level that he has put up around 57 points for his team so far. This has largely come from the 10 field goals he has hit, but his 27 PAT’s have also played a huge part in his success. As we progress into the rest of the season, any production that Vickers puts out will only further cement his potential place as top kicker in the state of GA this season.
Jacob Ulrich

– Mill Creek
Ulrich, who is without a doubt a huge contributor to Mill Creek’s high level of success this year, is also seeing a high point total due to this fact. After playing in 6 games, Ulrich has totaled 48 points for his team, and has averaged around 8 points a game. These points have largely come from his 30 PAT’s, and his 6 field goals this season.
Andy Ramirez- Trion
Ramirez, who has played in 7 games this year, happens to be tied with Ulrich so far this season, as he has put up 48 points for his team so far. With this, he has also averaged around 6 points a game, and has done so with 30 successful PAT’s, and 6 field goals.Going forward, we expect him to continue to play at a high rate with the short amount of time he has left in the regular season.
Jacob Russell- Carrollton
At this point of the season, Russell is also seeing a high level of success, as he has put up 47 points for his team, with an average of 5.9 points a game, and a total of 38 successful PAT’s, and 3 successful field goals. With this, Russell has also been hitting his kicks with a good arc, timing, and distance, and we look forward to seeing any potential future success that he will have the rest of this season.
Isaac Kone- Decatur
Out of Decatur, Isaac Kone has played at a very high level this year, and has put up a total of 46 points in the span of 6 games. In these 6 games, Kone has also averaged around 7.7 points a game, which should come as no surprise due to the high level of success he has already had. With this, Kone has also hit a total of 19 PAT’s, and has scored on 9 field goals, which have contributed 18 points in itself. If Kone can continue to finish strong, we have no doubt that his numbers will speak for themselves when it is all said and done this season.
