In a Week 7 matchup against Weatherford that went into overtime, Anto went 214 yards on 28 carries, notching 2 touchdowns. Highlighting his night was a beautiful 70-yard touchdown run. He is shifty with great vision; this makes finding the open running lanes for him simple. Displays good speed and acceleration once in the open field. Also does a fantastic job at using his blockers when in traffic to gain extra yards. Anto currently holds 2 offers and has made visits to Power 5 schools. I expect more offers to come in as he continues to consistently produce.
Hudson Hutcheson
Hudson Hutcheson
Last Friday against Midland Legacy, Hutcheson threw for 463 yards, went 24 of 28 with 7 total touchdowns, 6 passing and 1 rushing. Hutcheson shows excellent poise in the pocket. Not afraid to scramble and get dirty. Rolls out well and throws accurately on the move. Shows huge flashes of being a dual threat quarterback. Safe to say his baseball background compliments his play at quarterback. Throws an accurate deep ball and quick pass on an out route.
Obi Udom
Obi Udom
The Frisco Heritage Coyotes went up against a talented Sherman team last Friday. Obi was nothing short of impressive on the defensive line. He recorded 10 tackles, 4 solo tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, 2 hurries, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery. Standing on a super athletic frame at 6’3 235, he comes quick off the edge to attack the quarterback. Very physical on the attack and benefits the Coyote defense by forcing turnovers in key moments. Keys in on the ball carrier in the back field to provide excellent run support. Executes the swim technique to near perfection and sheds block well. With consistent performances like this, I would expect his recruitment to gain steam soon.
Hector Hinojos
Hector Hinojos
Week 7 Eastlake took on El Paso Montwood. Hinojos recorded 14 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 2 hurries, and a blocked extra point attempt. He has the ideal linebacker size at 6’1 195 lbs. Strong athlete, sheds blocks and busts through the offensive line efficiently. Can also drop back in coverage and does well at defending the pass. Keeps his feet moving and under him to maintain pursuit and has excellent closing speed. On the season, Hinojos has 5.5 sacks, if he continues the consistent play, expect that number to double.
Jack Fishpaw
Jack Fishpaw
Fishpaw was on target last week against Marcus (Flower Mound) going 25 of 36, 387 yards passing, and 5 touchdowns. Really impresses when throwing the deep ball, sets his feet and squares his shoulder before letting it fly. Has an excellent presence in the pocket but can also roll out and maintain accuracy. Makes good decisions on where to go with the ball, as well as when to tuck it and run. Displays good speed when running the ball and poses a high threat when doing so. Fishpaw is complimented by a well-rounded receiving core at Coppell.
