Porter Ridge – ATH Stephan Zayachowsky – As an all-around athlete, it is hard to put Stephan on just offense or defense, but he won the game with a 10-yard TD run in overtime, so we will go with that. He also had an interception in overtime, 129 yards rushing, 3 Touchdowns, and 10 total tackles for the game. The Charleston Southern commit is having an absolutely great senior season for the Pirates.
Community School of Davidson – WR Tanner Mullins – We have talked about QB AJ Sirianni from the same team before, but Tanner is having a great season as well – he is currently leading the state in receiving yardage and among the Top Ten in the country as well! In his latest game, he had 9 catches for 210 yards and 3 Touchdowns in victory. Truly having a special season as he is a 2024 uncommitted player.
Hickory – WR Dashawn Medley – I did not know much about Dashawn before this breakout game, and he absolutely broke out in a big way. Dashawn had 224 receiving yards and 3 Touchdowns, as well as 78 rushing yards and another touchdown in a victory over St. Stephens. Dashawn showed some major speed and breakaway play-making ability with the ball in his hands. I am confident that he put himself on the recruiting map with that performance. He is a 2024 uncommitted player right now.
Central Cabarrus – WR Adriel Miller – Miller had a memorable night for his last Homecoming game as a 2023 player. He had a great performance on the field with 7 catches for 197 yards and 4 Touchdowns, also adding an interception on defense in their victory. He also won Homecoming King which just made the night end in a great way.
Cox Mill – QB Dymere Edwards Dymere Edwards 6'4" | 225 lbs | QB Cox Mill | 2023 State NC – Dymere had a stellar game for the Chargers in a Monday Night victory over AL Brown – Edwards threw for 335 yards and 5 Touchdowns, hitting a variety of receivers in the game including Mercer commit Kendall Harris and 2024 receiving prospect Saxon Jenkins Saxon Jenkins 6'1" | 170 lbs | WR Cox Mill | 2024 State NC for over 100 yards receiving each.
