Many top performers are the primary targets Prep Redzone represents to colleges. The previews of these performances will also include a short evaluation of the recruits’ talents and abilities as known by the regional scout. We will include game footage of all performances if it is available by publish date.
“Murphy had himself a night on Friday. The senior linebacker compiled 22 tackles to help his team defeat their opponent. “Murphy is a very good inside plugger who is willing to take on blockers and still make the tackle. He tackles with strength and very good pad level. He plays fast and has a motor. He does a nice job keeping his eyes to the backfield while taking on blockers and reading pass or run. Has a bit of nastiness in him that can be seen during his play. He has an offer of support to the admission process at Trinity College.
“Hoeun” is a name we been hearing a lot about. He is only freshman. This week he ran for 278 yards and four touchdowns as he lead his team to a victory. Tyren also had 5 solo and 3 assisted tackles on defense. He has good speed and willing to run inside or outside. He shows good vision by reading and then following his blockers to find the open lanes. Has the ability to plant and cut away quickly to avoid defenders.
Yanchuk is seen as an power inside RB with good strength. This past weekend he rushed for 170 yards and also tallied 4 touchdowns to lead his team to victory. He shows toughness and appears to be competitive. He follows his blockers well and is patient when looking for running lanes to open. He has a physicality to his running style.
Highlights
“Kiley was on fire this Friday. The senior QB threw for 304 yards and he also scored three touchdowns to help his team to victory. He shows he can throw on the run with accuracy. He can escape and make plays with his arm and feet. He has the ability to make plays after protection breaks down. He does nice job with his playaction fakes and looks like he is in command at all times. He is committed to play baseball and football at Westfield State University.
Highlights
“Silva” ran for 270 yards and also scored five touchdowns this weekend. He is a power runner that has strength and gets the tough yards when needed. He has exceptional lower and upper body strength. He also shows good vision and the ability to see cut back lanes when defenders over pursue. He has good balance and shows he is able to pull away from defenders in open field. He has a very large frame and makes the defender pay when being tackled. He doesn’t go down easy and will fight for the extra yards.
