We will continue to publish this topic each week in hopes of giving the recruits that we spotlight, what they deserve to help alert college coaches attention. Rhode Island maybe a smaller state but it surely does have a High School Football fan base following with hidden football talents around the state. This also includes college coaches taking recent notice and traveling there during the recruiting evaluation process. Here are the Top Performances we were given notice about after Week 4 play.
Buehler got it done with his arm this weekend. He completed 22-of-32 passes for 308 yards and five touchdowns to lead his team. He has great effort in all his throws. Shows passion to the game. Has very good focus. He can make all the needed throws to be successful at the next level. His arm is strong and he works hard with a QB coach in the off-season. Has offers from St. Anslems Football for support through the admission process. We are hearing he also has D1 interest from Ivy and Patriot League schools.
Highlights
Craddock had another huge game this weekend. He ran for 182 yards on just 9 carries and scored five touchdowns to lead his team to victory. He is special in open field. He see’s the field really well. He can rip off big plays once he gets past 1st level defenders. Shows quickness and skills to plant and cut away to avoid being tackled.
We were told “Murphy” had a very good weekend performance. He carried the ball 22 times for 208 yards and scored two touchdowns. No game film is available to give a proper analysis of his skill set. We have reached out to his program to see if we can get film.
Durang ran for 222 yards on 18 carries. He also had TD runs of 24, 36 and 53 yards. He is a speedster who has a very good burst into the first level of defense. Once he breaks the first level of defense he is difficult to tackle. His vision allows him to find the open lanes to take it to the house. He has very good size.
Chung had another big weekend. He carried the ball 20 times for 181 yards and scoring two touchdowns. One of his Td’s was an 80-yarder where he can be seen out running his defenders with his speed. He also took a kickoff back 85 yards for the score. His vision just pops when watching him run. He may have a smaller frame than most backs but he is electric. He is a smooth runner that has a jump cut ability to make defenders miss. He will run inside or outside which defines toughness. A threat to take it to the house on any given play. He also displays very good special team kick return skills.
