We fully expect this list to look much different after this next week of play, as some of the best talent in the state has continued to step up more and more as the weeks go by. Below, take some time to look at these prospects.
Wesley Michaelson- Augusta Christian
With 9 games under his belt, Michaelson has continued to climb the Georgia High School football ladder, and has proven to be one of the better players in the state on the defensive side of the football. At this point of time, he leads the state by 1 tackle, as he has racked up 123 tackles so far. Impressively, he has done so by totaling around 59 solo tackles, and 64 assists. To add to this, he has also averaged an impressive amount of 13.7 tackles a game, and 13.5 tackles for a loss. Even more than this, he has also been instrumental in his ability to create big plays, which is evident by the 2 sacks he has had so far. Going into the rest of the year, we fully expect him to continue to play at a high level. Due to the numbers of the other prospects on this list, we are not sure if this will be enough to guarantee his spot on this list when it is all said and done.

– Whitefield Academy
Entering into week 10 of the high school football season, Whitefield Academy has only played 8 games, and for Lavallee, he personally has only played in 7. Nevertheless, he has not allowed this to be an excuse for lack of production, as he has competed with some of the best in the state by 1 to 2 less games this season under his belt. By 1 tackle, he has come in 2nd place on this list, but also stays out of 3rd place due to a 1 tackle margin as well. Currently he has a total of 122 tackles, with an average of 17.4 a game. In addition to this, he also has 14 tackles for a loss, and 3 sacks on a year, and the sky’s the limit for him going into the rest of the season.

is currently listed as the 4th ranked tackling leader in the state, as he currently has 117 tackles compared to the 5th place leader in Holden Trice, who has 114. Even with the tight race, Fox has stood out among plenty of defensive players throughout the state, as some of his tackles have come at very important times, and have even resulted in tackles for a loss (7), and sacks (4), proving that he is an incredibly versatile player. This versatility has also come with 47 solo tackles, and 70 tackles with assists. As he enters into game 10, look for him to continue to add great additions to his totals, and to potentially be one of the best defensive tackling machines in the state this season.
Holden Trice- Harrison
After 9 games, Trice has continued to perform at a high rate, and is a 7 tackle margin away from the 6th place leader in tackles in the state. At this point of time, he sits with 114 tackles, and also has an average of around 12.7 tackles a game. Even more, Trice also has a total of 74 solo tackles on the year, to 40 assists. Out of all of these tackles, 10 of them happened to be for a loss, with 4 sacks to add on to this as well.
