Arbach has quickly become the best lineman on his team and this has allowed him to quickly rise up the depth chart on his team as one of the best linemen on his team. The biggest thing that I look for when it comes to young offensive linemen is how they can play every position on the line and how they handle getting consistent snap times. Arbach has quickly shown me that he has not cared about his own playing time and will step up into any role that he needs for his team. With many of his offensive lineman teammates graduating this upcoming year, he will be looking to find a permanent spot on the line and that will come in due time. What he does now is playing well enough at every single position on the line and when he plays a single one, he will quickly master it and make it his craft. Arhback will be looking to make a big impact next year and has been doing it this year, someone I will be watching make some big moves.
Jack Dickey Jack Dickey 5'10" | 260 lbs | DL Aberdeen Central | 2025 SD – DL, Aberdeen Central
Dickey has been getting snaps on a few levels of play but he will be a player that the Golden Eagles will be seeing as someone who will help their defense and make the run defense even more lethal. Dickey has been everything that you would want out of your defensive lineman and has shown a great ability to stuff the run and even get into the backfield for TFLs. He is not a pass rusher by trade but can also line up off the edge to try to rack up some sacks. Dickey is going to fit in great for his team’s defense for a few reasons, mostly that their defensive scheme is based on big defensive linemen who stuff the run. Dickey has really impressed me with how he plays level with tenacity and always seems to be the most energetic guy on the field even when he is a lineman. His speed and strength also make him a capable threat, and with the right tools, he could rise up on ranking list across the state with the talent he has.
Landon Dulaney Landon Dulaney 6'2" | 185 lbs | WR Brandon Valley | 2025 State SD – WR, Brandon Valley
Dulaney while not having the most chances to get some snaps as a top wideout for his team, he has made the most of it while also playing with some top wideouts on this team. What he has brought to the table was not only as a wideout who can break out into the open field and make a big play but also as a gadget-type player who can do a variety of things. This now allows him to be more of an offensive weapon style of the player instead of a typical wideout as of right now. With some of his teammates at the WR position leaving at the end of this year, Dulaney will be looking to take a big step up in the role of his offense, and I think he will be just as ready. He has shown that he can do a wide amount of roles and has no issue doing it. He will play any role to help his team win, but with him getting more targets, look for him to have a big year with some big stats to boot.
Connor Gray Connor Gray 6'0" | 185 lbs | LB Sioux Falls Lincoln | 2025 State SD – QB, Sioux Falls Lincoln
Gray is one of my favorite prospects that South Dakota has right now and is on the top of my list for the talent that he shows on the field, and if he gets the chance, he will show what he can do. Gray is everything great about what the modern quarterback has become, someone who is a master of everything and has little weakness on the field. Depending on the offensive set, Gray has seen to adjust his style of QB play to allow his offense to run smoothly, and score quite a few points in the process. It is hard to truly say what his style of game is but it is like a gunslinger mobile QB who can read defenses like a book. His offensive IQ and ability to adjust plays slightly to make a man open based on the defense, is going to make him one of the best QBs in South Dakota in the next years. Do not sleep on what this kid does, he will be great and I am will be excited to see what he can do with all of his talents.
